I'm not sure what that means. I think you get more stars the more you post and your rank will change too. I gave you karma for your posts though.

his star does seem a little different though. I thought usually it's a green star.
Anyway fair enough. You make persuasive arguments.
I would point this out.
For one thing I'd actually rather have a coach where I have no freakin clue what he's trying to do but he's obviously trying to do it and the players are improving, as opposed to a coach where I know exactly what he's trying to do and he's not doing it and he's not sticking it thru and his players aren't improving (Pittino).
Also there are a lot of coaches in this league that are probably trying to do stuff and are very hohum. I have no idea who the coach even is in some places like ...I don't know...Milwaukee or New Orleans. I don't think the guy for the Raptors is a genious either and I don't want them coaching our team. Look at those teams. They were bad. They got top draft picks like Bogut and C Paul. They improved. They're in a quagmire of mediocrity. I'm sure they're doing everything they can. Maybe they'll be fired. Maybe not. I don't know. But I know Doc has improved our young guys and as stuck with it and I'd say they are getting better at running plays or at least at playing basketball.

Well the record shows where we stand on Doc and the comin weeks will prove wheather we change our minds, though I doubt Ill change mine ;D, unless Doc all of a sudden gets it. Let me ask you guys the same question I asked some of the guys on the mssg board on espn, WHO would you want to see coachin this Cs team? You already know Im lookin 4Billy Donavan and the reasons why. I heard Al Skinner and Rick Aldeman. Don't think Al is up 4it and I think Rick Aldeman is more suited 2a team like Hou than ours, I think he'd be a perfect choice 4Hou if they released VanGundy. Id be interested in who you'd rather see coachin this team other than Doc. Im interesed in hearin what every1 has to say, really ;D. Thanks 4the karma CF though I don't know what that is and/or how 2give it ;D.

On the pre game show they just said they fully expect Doc to be back next year and from what they have heard he will be the coach next season. They said the question is whether the owners will want to extend his contract and whether he will want to coach as a lame duck.

I want Doc back at this point. Notice how Rondo and RAy and Powe are getting more time? Rondo is looking like a guy that can get 20 assists in a game. People just need to be patient. Doc is doing fine.

Well I don't put much stock in "them" sayin that Doc'll be back nxt yr. I mean even if they thought that Doc wasn't goin 2b here nxt yr, I don't think they'd just bad mouth him in public sayin that they don't believe that Doc'll be bac nxt yr. I think "they" like Doc and have 2much respect 4Doc 2do that 2him, which is alright. The owners have been fickle 'bout Doc, in some cases I hear that the owners want Doc gone, but DA puts himself in front of Doc sayin if Doc goes, he goes . Plus I find it very tellin that the owners haven't extended Docs contract yet or said that they're behind Doc as coach of this team. Personally I think they're fed up w/Doc2. I think they want a change 'cause they know they gotta sell tix nxt yr and though we're goin 2have a top pk playin 4us, I figure other fans wanna see some kinda change in either the coach or GM so that the fans know that the brass isn't happy w/whats goin on. That's just my personal opinion the stuff 'bout the tix and all . I actually read the pt 'bout the owners, DA, and Doc somewhere, but I can't remember where

i agree they wouldn't bad mouth him I think the owners are waiting to see what happens. If we go on a big losing streak and/or the players regress he's gone. If they continue to improve he has a decent chance.
If they do get rid of him, even though under normal circumstances I might avoid college coaches like the plague, under these circumstance with so many young players who never got to go to college I'd love to have an even keeled college guy who is like a teacher of the game. I actually think Billy Donovan is too young. Coach K is just sacraledge, even though he is the exact oppositte of Pitino. We could definitely use someone the exact oppositte of Pittino. I'd picket if they got the General. I'd just wait for a Sprewell incident, which would be hillarious and I'd die laughing. I can justs see PP strangling him. He'd deserve it. I wouldn't want Roy Williams or an institution like Jim Boeheim, but I think I could go for a Tom Izzo or a Jim Calhoun.

It's interesting they just said Doc is planning to get Ray some time at pg because he wants RAy to have some experience playing that position. Those are the type of things that might cost us a win or two but will be valuable experience getting guys experience at different positions in the future. People will say he is better suited as an off guard and he is, but it's good to get guys experience.

Just like it was totally worth it to experiment with Oriene Green at both guard spots and TA at pg. You gotta find these things out. You don't know till you try. A whole win be darned

I have some hope in Allan Ray. I think Ainge and Doc see him as a player to hold onto because he can be a good offensive backcourt player--i.e. a scoring backup PG/SG.

I know it makes no sense but you see Rondo play the off guard at times and maybe this is just Doc's way of trying to get Rondo to shoot the ball more and work on his shot and learn how to play off the ball.

Possibly. But I think its a good move he's doing by starting Rajon at the Point and Delonte at the 2. This is what makes sense right now.

That's the thing though we know Rondo can pass and can play the point. What he needs to work on is his off the ball play and his shooting. Allen Ray said it best. "expand your game".

Time to get rid of Wally.... Althogh Wally is more of a SF, that can play that shooter role. It's going to be really interesting trying to get all these guys time once everyone is healthy. Right now we have Pierce, Delonte, Gerald, RAy, Wally, Scal who are all shooters for the most part. Powe, Jefferson and Perkins who are primarily interior players. Rondo and Telfair are penetrators. Gomes is somewhere in between. It's going to be tough decisions on who plays and who we let go, etc....

That is a tough one to contemplate, CF. Which one of our young ones do we hold onto and which ones will we let go. I mean, we are really young and inexperienced that Ainge will need to consider keeping just the top 3 or 4 best young guys just so that we can go ahead and focus on developing them.
BTW, I must congratulate Doc for doing what's best for the team. Starting Rajon at the Point and moving Delonte to the 2 is what's needed. I'm not here just to knock Doc down. I'll give him props for the good things that he does.
