I forgot to read who wrote the violin post halfway into it, and I was like, "it must be dm"...
;D hehehe
I don't think Antoine wants to be a "star" per se. I think he wants to win
Well, again, lets go back to the shredding violinist ;D. Its not that he wants to be ruin the orchestra he's playing for. Its just that his style of play and the talent he has just clashes with the other musicians who all play in unison and harmony with one another. The violinist just wants to play music, but his way of playing music doesn't fit in with the orchestra he's playing with.
I think he'll be a much better player if he plays alongside of Shaq. For once, he won't be the most dominant character on his team and this may cause him to play within himself and not try to do too much.

Right, he also has never played with a superstar unless you want to count Dirk or Nash. But Shaq is the diesel. This aught to be interesting. I think they'll get him. Oh btw, change that picture up top with GP and Walker. Make a whole new one.

I think his agent made it up. Why they resign Haslem? His agent made it up to get Danny or someone to sign him.

Walker and his agent Bartlestein had an interview with Pat Riley yesterday. There's an interest in him, but maybe Walker and the Heat aren't a good match. The Heat are interested in a boost off the bench, while Walker is still a starter. Unless in the meeting Walker made it clear that he'd like to come off the bench, I doubt that this deal is going to happen.
BUT, Riley did use Anthony Mason on his New York team as a Point Forward, and both Mason and Walker are pretty much similar in style (except Mason didn't launch three poitners). If Riley likes the idea of having another Anthony Mason on his team again, maybe he'd slide Walker to the starting spot and move Udonis Haslem to the bench.

Riley can do weird things so I expect seeing Walker at sf. Haslem won't sit. Not at all. I heard its gonna go like this if it happens:
C, O'Neal PF,Haslem SF,Walker SG,E Jones PG, Wade

I never thought I would want Shaq to win, but if Toine is by his side, then I will have to love him...Heat will demolish this next year with Toine...even though everyone thinks he sucks, he is going to add a lot to that team...who I might add is lacking in the pg playmaker position.

Its not that we think Walker sucks. He just needs to alter his game. Had he continued rebounding and had a higher FG%, I would not oppose bringing him back for a couple of years. But his game changed back to the style which got him traded in the first place and the personality of the team became Walker's again, which is what I think Ainge was stating when he first came to Boston, when he said Walker's got a hold of the team.

If Walker concentrated on low post stuff only, I would want him back 200%. But it looks as if its not. Miami still may want the whole Antoine though and not the partial Antoine we think they'll be going after. Who knows. Maybe Riley doesn't think he can get in the way with losing for the team with Shaq and Wade there. 2 superstars.

Today's herald (I think it is) says DA isn't likely to do a sign-and-trade unless it improves the Cs.

About the 200% saying, eh whatever. The only trade right now I see Danny doing is the Memphis one. I would like Lorenzen Wright though for Blount and Banks. If its J, WIlliams fine but I'd want Wright more so he could be a locker room vet mentoring Perkins like a veteran big man should. His salary isn't too cheap either so I see Memphis offering him in place of J-Will also.

Would any of you oppose losing Walker for nothing more than lowering our salary?
