Yeah, its good to have players who know how to get to the line and convert easy points. Jefferson seemed to get to the line pretty often. Tony Allen and Gerald Green are so slithery and fluid that they probably won't get to the line often. These kind of athletes usually get to the basket without drawing much contact--just take a look at Vince Carter and Ray Allen. People consider them soft, but they do drive to the basket. But their athleticism allows them to manuever past contacts and get to the basket without getting hacked.
Pierce is slower so that's why he gets fouled a lot. Luckily, he's a good FT shooter and scores a bunch of points at the line.

I was told even more by someone who is from Houston and said Green has McGrady written all over him. That means hes quite more athletic than Pierce. Not sure if his ppg average will be McGradys though.

Damn I hate comparisons. I see Green being Gerald Green. Must be me... I think he can get to the line too DM. I know you didn't say the comparison.

Yea same here. Green is his own individual. Not a McGrady. Someone who saw more of him just said McGrady comparisons are all there. I think he could definitely replace Pierce though.
