Thanks for the link, FL. The game started an hour earlier than I thought, so its a good thing you posted the link for me.
Glen Davis is looking really good.

Normally, Leon Powe is a lot more active. But in this game, Glen Davis seems to be the one with the high motor.

If Rondo could hit that shot on a regular basis.

Celtics are looking good so far. They are playing defense!! Powe out jumped Oden for the opening tip. Rondo hit a 3/4 court shot to finish the first quarter. So far so good. Powe is looking very good as is Rondo.

Funny seeing a different player wearing #13 for us. Gabe Pruitt comes into the game an immediately hits a nice three pointer. He really gets up high on his jumpers.
Gerald looks more assertive and confident. Hope he looks this way against real NBA competition this year.

Pruitt's hit 2 of his first 3 shots (all three pointers), but even the one he missed when in and out. He's looking like a good shooter--plus his athleticism really makes him look even better.

Wallace is looking good. He can get up there. On Sports Tonight on FSN, Mike Gorman said that he has been impressing them in practices. Green looks like he has gained some confidence.

Green looks like he has gained some muscle. I love Leon Powe. He works so hard out there on the court. Wallace has a sweet stroke along with some good defense and rebounding. I am impressed with Wallace.... How did this kid not get drafted?

Portland could be a scary team in the near future. Both LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden can be good offensive and defensive players, combining to form a long and athletic frontcourt. Add in Brandon Roy at the 2 and they have 3 pieces already in place. Martell Webster could be their SF, we'll see.

I really like what I am seeing from this team. Powe is playing Oden tough. They are running, hustling for loose balls, battling for rebounds and most importantly, they are playing defense. Wallace is really impressive.

Yeah, this Brandon Wallace kid is looking like a nice defensive wing player. I don't know if he's a lock down defender, but he's an athletic player who seems to be able to disrupt on defense.
I think Gabe Pruitt is going to find a nice niche on the team as an offensive backup PG/SG. He's got to continue to look for his shot. Pruitt may be the one to push Allan Ray off the team.
