Well, if you believe Ainge, he said this morning on Toucher and Rich that he’s not going to do anything with the TPE right now. Seemed to indicate more likely at the trade deadline when teams dangle players.

James Harden widens his list of teams he’ll accept being traded to (not just the Nets).
Would you trade for him if it means opening the possibility of bringing in Giannis?
Otherwise, I’m against a Harden trade.

I'd need to be very very sure Giannis would do that. I'd need to think there's a huge chance of it. Also I'm not sending Tatum or Jaylen. So if they want to talk about Marcus then maybe we can talk

Aside from whether or not Harden would make us better, do we really want to watch that brand of basketball for the next bunch of years? I know he's effective, but I hate his game. Also, aren't Harden and Giannis feuding?

Also, aren't Harden and Giannis feuding? Is Harden’s game a product of D’Antoni’s system? If it is, then Harden was encouraged to play that way, much like how Jim O’Brien encouraged Antoine Walker to ditch going to the paint and fire 3 pointers to his heart’s delight.

I kinda hope Harden ends up going to Brooklyn. If Brooklyn, they’ll have Kyrie-KD-Harden, and Giannis will not feel needed to be there.
Maybe Giannis might look at Philly, but the vibe there is kind of negative.
Would Giannis consider the Lakers? Maybe, if he thinks he and Anthony Davis can do great things together (Lebron will probably show decline by then).
I think Giannis would consider us, seeing how great our organization is, how positive the culture is, how we have great young players. The one big reason why he might conceivably choose us over staying in Milwaukee is because they don’t have Jayson Tatum. He and JT are two of the brightest young stars in the NBA with great personalities.

I don't see any way Giannis comes here. I don't think we'd have enough to offer in trade (unless we offer Jaylen), and it would be nearly impossible to make the necessary cap space.

I just worry we wouldnt have enough left over to really make title-contending team. That's why it hurt so much for neither that sacto pick or that memphis pick to end up as higher lotto picks. Having a blue chip prospect as a prospect would've really made getting a giannis-level star that much easier.
