Well, with Griffin going back to the Clippers and Paul George going to OKC, the Celtics whiffed on two of their targets this season. I'm not all that unhappy, actually. I never really liked Blake Griffin and he is very breakable. And George is a rental for one year because as early as today he was still talking about going to LA next year.
You have to wonder if Danny's offers were even less than what have been reported. Or maybe Indy wanted to trade him before free agency and didn't want to wait for Danny to get Hayward first.
Now, I wonder if that will affect whether Hayward will want to come to Boston... Going to be a tense few days for me while we wait on Hayward's decision.

On the other hand, how ticked off must Pacers fans be. Oladipo and Sabonis only?? No drsft picks to replenish the cupboard??

The Western Conference is stacked! I think it makes it more likely Hayward heads to us or some other East team...its looking like a near impossibility for most western teams to even sniff the playoffs even if they had a decent record.

I realize that with the West getting so much stronger and the Clippers resigning Blake and not tanking, it means the Lakers will have a tougher time getting wins in that conference. Better for us as it means a higher chance of a top lottery Lakers draft pick...as long as its not no.1

OMG. $23 million for Reddick. The guy does one thing, shoot threes. I don't even want to think about what Bradley is going to get offered.
