OMG. $23 million for Reddick. The guy does one thing, shoot threes. I don't even want to think about what Bradley is going to get offered. There is a few factors in play. Its a 1 year deal and also its to a bad team. Teams like the Sixers have to overpay and 1 year deals tend to be alot more expensive since it gives a team the flexibility to call it quits after one season. That said, I won't be surprised if Bradley ends up with a 4 year 80 mil dollar deal.

Well, Evan Turner got close to $70 mil for 4 years, and AB does a lot more, so that sounds like a reasonable guess.

Looks like Millsap might be headed to Denver. The East is just being raided of every bit of talent.

[HASH]sixers tried to include Jahlil Okafor in a sign-and-trade with [HASH]celtics for Amir Johnson, per @wojespn. Deal fell through.
So this was interesting...That the Sixers literally wanted to give us Okafor and we said no. It makes sense as we preserve cap space and don't unnecessarily take on a coaching burden we didnt need.

I'm telling you right now teams like the Bulls are looking at what we have and want it in trades. Ainge is like "No way" so they take a lot less with other teams. But that doesn't mean for one second Ainge coulda got these players for less. Teams gotta realize just because we have high picks and great players doesn't mean you get to have that for your player that doesn't want to be with you or that you can't afford to keep

Ainge must have had good intel that George wasn't a guarantee to re-sign with us next year. Without that assurance, he can't add the prized draft pick. I don't think Ainge is being a scrooge with the draft picks. He even went on record saying that the Brooklyn 2018 pick is not untouchable. But he's not giving it away, or offering it to just anyone. He's being smart about, and for very good reasons.

Indy could have had the Nets' pick (and thus Fultz) at the trade deadline, so they have to be kicking themselves. They got greedy and got burned. Meanwhile, I think we dodged a bullet. We could have had George for a year and no Tatum or Lakers/Kings pick.

Cavs signed Jose Calderon.
Nene had agreed to a four-year, $15 million deal with Rockets. The league wouldn't approve it because of the new over 38 rule and so the deal was changed to 3 years 10.9 million and that didn't sit well with Nene and so he may be back on the market if they can't figure that out.

Good for the Cavs. And they save money on health insurance because Calderon qualifies for Medicare.
Seriously, some of the names you hear at this time of year I find myself thinking "He's still playing?".

Joe Ingles is headed back to Utah. Ingles deal: 4 years, $52M, source says. Ingles is one of Gordon Hayward's closest friends on team, and shares Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports as an agent. May make a difference in Hayward's decision if he is leaning toward staying in Utah.

Seriously, some of the names you hear at this time of year I find myself thinking "He's still playing?". I've read about the impact of Calderon's minimum vet signing with the Cavs. They're so far in the luxury tax space that even a vet minimum costs them the equivalent of a mid level. And thats why Ainge is smart to keep us lean on the spending by holding our top rookie talents rather than trading for aging players.
