apparently Porzingis may be available. He is still on his rookie contract and his 2 blocks per game would look good next to Horford (not to mention his scoring touch). Wonder what the Knicks would want in return. 14-players that can run the triangle.

Source: New Orleans Pelicans guard Tim Frazier has been traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for the No. 52 pick.
Tim Frazier spent a training camp with the Celtics and played a season on the Red Claws.

On The Vertical, the implication is Danny will talk about a Paul George trade on draft day.

On The Vertical, the implication is Danny will talk about a Paul George trade on draft day. I saw that... Plus the Porzingis stuff. I don't know how I will sleep tonight. Probably have nightmares all night long. Danny trades the 3 and instead of getting Porzingis he settles for Noah... Or I'll have a nightmare about getting porzingis and he comes to training camp in a wheel chair. This is getting stressful.

I'm wondering if we'll take back Carmelo Anthony. Remember back in January, this statement came out on CBSSports: An NBA source said Celtics coach Brad Stevens would embrace coaching Anthony, but president of basketball operations Danny Ainge rejected any deal. That hasn’t stopped the Knicks from scouting Celtics players just in case Boston is willing to become part of a multi-team trade.
The Celtics were approached about the possibility of acquiring Anthony in recent weeks but rebuffed any advanced discussions. That has not precluded the Knicks from trying again, apparently. Also, remember that the coaching staff wanted more offense.

Both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin opted out of their contracts with the Clippers and will be free agents.

James Young was given many chances to stick -- ultimately he couldn't earn a spot on the roster.
And we can see that he doesn't have a dog mentality. We're weeding out the non-dog players.

Not at all surprised. They'll probably sign for vet min or something like that. That would be one team that I'd love to cheer against!!

Gross. Though it would be great if they still lost with Wade and Melo on the team. Reminds me of when the Lakers brought Payton and Malone in and then failed.

As pathetic as this may be, I'm rooting for this to happen because I want CLE (or anyone) to beat the Warriors.

WOW! Big domino falls. Chris Paul to the Rockets. Clippers get Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and 2018 Pick.
If Blake leaves too, I wonder how long it will be till Doc quits too. He won't like rebuilding in LA any more than he did in Boston.

Interesting. I think Lou Williams has a similar contract situation to Avery Bradley with only one year left at 7mill, so they'll get to clear some space for next summer.
P Bev has a decent contract at 5mill per for 2 years. Dekker is a fine prospect. Dekker is only 1.7 this year. So they take on only 14mill or so and send out 24. Shaving 10mill is interesting. I'm not sure if they're in luxury tax land, but they are over the cap so there's that

The thing annoying me these days is that Blake Griffin is so not a max guy. Not even close.
