Pekovic has only had 2 seasons in which he's played in more than 60 games (actually, he's had more season of playing LESS than 54 games, which was 3 times). But when he plays, and gets 30 minutes, he's a solid contributor on the boards and does some scoring as well.
31 years old now. But we could use more muscle in the frontcourt.

From all I've heard he's never playing basketball again. Dude has chronic pain in his right ankle. Hopefully they can figure it out and he can live a pain free life.

Whoa!! Mozgov and D'Angelo Russel to Brooklyn for Brook Lopez and the 27th pick.

I gotta think this makes Brooklyn worse, which is good for us. The Lakers' pick is only good for us if it falls between 2 - 5. But Brooklyn's pick is unprotected.

Just saw that. Man, Brooklyn must really like Russel to take on Moz's awful contract. That's also a pretty poor value for a guy that was the [HASH]2 overall pick just two years ago.
Man, if Lopez can end his uninjured streak this season both BRK and LAL should be terrible this season. This is looking good for Boston.

To me this makes it even more likely that the Lakers draft Ball, having traded Russell.
So it looks like Jackson or Tatum for us.

The Atlanta Hawks have traded center Dwight Howard to the Charlotte Hornets, according to The Undefeated’s Marc Spears. Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Hawks would get MIles Plumlee, Marco Belinelli, and the 41st pick for Howard and the 31st pick.

Howard has to be the biggest waste of physical talent the NBA has ever seen. Guy could have been great.

I feel like Howard has one of the most bizarre career arcs of all time. Oh well. May Charlotte enjoy Superman.

I'd definitely be interested in him for the Celtics.

I think Ainge alluded to wanting players who are able to contribute on both ends of the court. And with DeAndre's FT woes, he'll be a liability late in games (even without the new rule).

apparently Porzingis may be available. He is still on his rookie contract and his 2 blocks per game would look good next to Horford (not to mention his scoring touch). Wonder what the Knicks would want in return.
