Dwayne Casey, Toronto's head coach, could get the ax if/when the Raptors are eliminated.
Tough gig -- you turn the franchise around, get them to the top of the East, win the most games in franchise history, and still get fired. It's not like he has great players on his team.
But I understand -- they've faltered in the playoffs far too often. But what head coach are they going to bring in who can do better than what Casey's done?

I agree, it's tough.
However, how pathetic were the Raptors in that series? To not even win one game is not a good look. Don't get me wrong, the players are to blame more so than the coach because I've never seen such a psychological hold on another team like Lebron has on the Raptors. You gotta at least win 1 game though with your team fully healthy and being a [HASH]1 seed. Even the Pacers took them to 7 so the Cavs are not invincible.

You don't usually see this. The Bulls/Hawks game last night went to quadruple OT with the Bulls winning 168-161. LaVine, for example played 56 minutes. Both teams play tomorrow. However.....lucky for them....they play each other, so neither team is at a horrid disadvantage. I wonder what the score of that one with be. I'd think 88-85.

I’m surprised that teams aren’t in tank mode this year. The usual teams, the Cavs, Knicks, Pistons, etc are making moves this offseason, as if they’re trying to win. But this draft is so far looking pretty good. If anything, this would be the year to tank.

The Thunder just had the most active off-season in NBA history, even though it was the shortest off-season ever. fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-thunder-have-been-busier-this-offseason-than-any-team-in-nba-history/Presti has always intrigued me from a distance. Plucking Durant, Westbrook and Harden in consecutive drafts is not too shabby. It'll be interesting to watch what he does with all the picks and trade exceptions he's stockpiled, not to mention cap space he might create if he can get rid of Horford's contract. |

Yup that was def a disappointing showing.
