There's a Denver/Clippers pre-season game on right now. -It's weird to see Doc and his crew on the bench for another team. -Evan Fournier is gonna be a player in the this league, at least on the offensive end. He can stroke it from the outside, and has nice touch around the hoop. Due to injuries to Galinari he should get a some minutes early on this year. -Randy Foye is apparently a Nugget now. The announcers were talking about his childhood, and how it was rough even for NBA standards. I did some google searching and found this article about him. Kid had a truly awful childhood, but it's a pretty cool story about how the people in his neighborhood took care of him. Sounds like he's grown to be a pretty decent guy. sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3684560

Watching the same game, bro. Man, is Andre Miller the most uninteresting player ever to play this sport.

CP3 is in a league of his own. A real maestro.

Doc made a huge mistake electing to keep DAndre instead of trading him for Garnett. The Clips look good, but they need a defensive anchor to be true contenders.

You know what seeing Ryan Hollins on the Clippers team tells me? That Doc Rivers likes lightweight, long and langy Centers who can't rebound and are limited offensive players.
We've had a bunch of these types of Centers over the years, and even though we needed rebounding, we went after these guys.
Doc likes DAndre -- same type.
Is it right? Is it wrong? I don't know, but I don't care for it.

I mean yes Doc did say he did prefer Jordan but I think he only said it because he wanted to instill some confidence in his young big man. Its like how Jim Harbaugh kept talking up Alex Smith. Heck I think Doc personally preferred Garnett but if he was to openly support Garnett, his own players might not be as motivated knowing that the coach didnt have his back.

CP3 is in a league of his own. A real maestro. No kidding. Dude is something else. I've always thought it was crazy when C's fans put Rondo in the same boat as CP3. Rondo is fantastic, but Paul is on a different level.

The playoffs in the East are gonna be something else. With Indy, Miami, Chicago, and New Jersey, the 2nd round and ECF are gonna be great.

New York could force their way into the conversation, but after them, everyone else is a pretender.
Sorry Milwaukee, sorry Detroit, sorry Atlanta -- you guys don't have much of a shot.

Washington looks to be getting better too. I'd argue that they're a playoff lock if they still healthy.

I'd agree. I think Brad Beal is ready to take a step forward. They look good enough to be a late seeded playoff team (though in the weak eastern conference, they could be looking at the 6th spot).

Agreed. If Beal can make a big jump they could be even better than that. Wall and Beal is a good combo along with a good duo of big men in Nene and Gortat. Thats a pretty potent offensive lineup.

Maybe they can challenge the Knicks for the 5th seed.

Lebron has the longest streak in the league of games with 10 or more points at 500. Who is second?
