If Bynum is coming onto the team maybe, Allen may go to the nbdl and it can move west at starting sg and the pg can be that vet pg Danny is looking for or Orien Greene even.

Meltin- First your sending Reed to the NBDL, then West (because Banks can't go) and now Allen. Why would you think having any of these guys, practicing and playing against lessor talent, would gain from such a move. I think they will develop a better game vs NBA players - even if it's only in practice. Doc and the coaches can teach them more if they are with the Celts.
I see the NBDL as a place to send undrafted players or raw talent that need a year or two of seasoning at a lower level of play.

No, Tony Allen isn't going anywhere. Not the way Doc feels about him. He thinks highly of the kid's potential, and quite frankly, so do a lot of folks here.

Reed definitely could go to the NBDL. He is both unproven and raw, and, well, we are definitely lacking a roster spot for him to fit in...blame veal for that one (what an AWFUL nickname that is btw)...unfortunately, it looks like Banks won't be here, Gomes/Green/Perk will get a few minutes a game...sometimes, but nothing major, Greene/Reed/Bynum(?) will be in the nbdl, and borchardt/woods/Mirallas will never be a part of the Tics organization....as for guys like Blount, he will see plenty of time at the Center position this year and continue to piss everyone off...but he will still nail that 15 foot jumper everytime...those are my random predictions

Lets hope BLonut doesn't play. But maybe he will now that Walker is gone. The Walker trade took a lot of his minutes.

MBlount might play better if he knows he's being moved. Like when he played better to get his last contract.

Yea but anything to get more wins is what I say. Anything to motivate a player. Lets just hope he doesn't get more minutes to the point that Perkins is on the pine once again.

even if we did threaten to trade him he'd still keep that huge contract. depending on where he goes he might prefer it and actually try less if that were possible

Even if we couldn't trade him, couldn't we drop him with the "Amnesty" exception...like the Knicks did with Jerome Williams? I understand the contract would still have to be paid off, but it wouldn't count against the cap. Maybe Wyc just doesn't feel like dishing out the money...

Blount is going to be the 3rd big man option off the bench. Ahead of him will be Scalabrine and Mt Perk. I say he gets 10 minutes a game at the most.
Ainge needs to be creative and get whatever he can get out of a trade for Blount. Maybe he'll need to package Blount with a young, expendable player in order to move him. But if Blount isn't getting playing time, he's going to be a headache in the lockerroom, and we don't need that.

Nobody would ever think Blonut would be such a demanding person. I heard he was the quieter guy in the locker room. On another note, he has no right to (censored) about pt because he was a 56th pick. Hes lucky hes even in this league to begin with.
