I meant that he would be really decent scoring 20 and 10 but he wouldn't win in clipperland like Brand isn't. Had he went to the celtics under Pitino, hed have to change his game to 3 pointers.

I could see Reed or Gomes giving us a nice inside/outside game at the 3 (4 at times). I say it's Justin's to lose, PT that is, with Ryan right on his tail.

I think early on, Justin will get more playing time. But its going to be pretty evident to Rivers how much he needs to have Gomes in there with the second unit. Hopefully, Rivers will be able to find a nice balance giving both players PT. I wouldn't be surprised if Gomes gets more playing time, while Reed becomes a defensive specialist.

Gomes will be a good locker room leader I think. Even more than Justin Reed unless that changes too. I can see Perkins getting angry if the team is down like when Perkins is developed as a player and he may light a match under certain guys !!!GREENIAC!!!. Jefferson picked up the good things from Walker like the gametime fire so that can only help. If thats the one thing he learned from Walker, its all good. I see many of our guys being vocal except for Tony Allen. Allen I see leading by example. Jefferson I see leading by example far more than Walker but also with some vocal leadership but not as vocal as Walker. But he will be well rounded.

Anyone know what kind of contract Derek Fisher has? Wonder if we could somehow get Chris mullin to bite on a Blount+Banks for fisher and garbage deal. I think DF would be the perfect guy to have as a vet PG. Plays D, seems like a good guy, and he knows how to win.

What would you rather have a sulking 7footer or a decent 6footer who isnt getting any younger? I think I'll take the 'lil guy if Blount is turning into a bad locker pressence like the articel says. Heres what Id like to see. Get some good charecter Vet guys to help the kids, and spend these next two years letting the kids develop, win, lose, or draw. by the end of the 07 season, I doubt we'll be title favorites, but we should be ready to surprise some teams.

Shouldn't you be able to get an older PG who's at the MLE straight up for a 7 footer - who might only need a new home to play solid. Why toss in Banks, w/out getting a first round pick out of the deal? Or were you going there too Fresh?

I threw in banks just b/c he seems like he's always attached to any trades we do. I think it might come down to Danny and Doc just not wanting Banks on the team.

I can see that Fresh. Would Bynum work as a number 2 or 3 PG? I know a lot of this falls on Greene's game too. Check your PMs.

I have a feeling Banks is the outcast of everyone in this young group. He was involved to even go to LA for an old Gary Payton and Rick Fox. At least it was Jumaine Jones though. For now though, lets just say leave the situation alone if it involves a Derek Fisher coming here for expensive money UNLESS a protected 1st round pick comes with it.

Danny had a change of heart there for sure. I now think it will be Bynum who Ainge is trying to sell off.

I am really interested to see if these players who play in the NDBL will develop. One on one hand, do you have them practice hard against the starters but not play them in the games, or do you send them to the NDBL where they will play everyday, but not against great competition?
