Cloverfield is the movie I think you're referring to. The one that was shot with a video camera the whole show

Yep, that's the one. I liked the movie, just couldn't stand the movie shaking so much.

Yeah, I watched it in 3D, and there were times I felt like ditching the glasses cause I didn't know if it was making that much of a difference. I didn't get motion sickness, though. The only time I got sick watching a movie was that recent monster movie called ? ville (I can't remember the name). I saw 'cloverfield' at home. The movie had a good story, but I couldn't take the actors seriously, and the camera man kept on saying "OMG."

It's supposed to be pretty good. I haven't seen it yet either.
Watched the House of Sand and Fog a couple of nights ago. It was fantastic. Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley were both great. Much, much better than I thought it would be.

Pity he didn't win the Oscar for the movie I think it was either 2003 or 2004. And I agree about Kingsley. I think he was nominated, but depending on who else was nominated, he could have easily won. Connelly was very good as well. She was better in this than she was in A Beautiful Mind, which she won an Oscar for.

Just checked, Sean Penn's Mystic River performance won Best Actor that year. I think it could have gone either way because both movies were equally good.

Yeah, Mystic River was great. I think that was a pretty good year for movies. Hmm..well Cold Mountain was out that year as well..and..can't believe that British guy in it also got nominated for best actor..I really didn't think it was that great of a movie to be honest.

I never saw Cold Mountain. Didn't look all that good. If you have the hots for Nicole Kidman and wants to see her "nude" then that would be the only reason to watch it.
