I saw 1917 a while back. really dug it. deserves to be seen in a theater. visually and aurally it's something else. the set design is something. Feels like you're right there in the trenches. The story could've been a bit more compelling, but it was still very good. WWI was something else.
Saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood recently. Loved it. I dug Parasite, which won best picture, but my vote would've went to OUaTiH. It's a love letter to late 1960's hollywood, and man does it succeed. to the music, to the cars, nothing feels forced or out of place.

I have not! I did watch that Greyhound movie tonight. WWII sub movie on Apple+. It was very good. Tom Hanks was great, as always.

Eja - still have not seen the first Avatar. The director, Cameron, has a penchant for water. Years ago, I picked up a movie directed by Cameron, which also had water, and it was one of the worst films I have ever watched. Wasn't even worth the $5 I spent.
