I saw watchmen sort of the other night. It was really confusing and i was half watching it but seemed interesting. really? I found it kinda straight forward..I've heard that the ending in the comic book is different from the movie ending though

yeah it probably had more to do with me half watching it then the movie itself. I liked the atmosphere and characters and stuff. I'll have to watch it again sometime to fully let it sink in.

Watchmen was a great movie, until the latter part of the movie. The characters were great, and I really enjoyed how they were blended into history.

Last night I watched Blade Runner for the first time. Very, very cool movie. The setting is just great. Tons of stuff to look at.

I had to watch it for film study years back in college. It does have an intriguing storyline but I guess that unless I was there for when it first came out, the special effects don't really look that great to me.

Speaking of old movies, I rented "E.T." last week. E.T was one of the first movies my mother took me to see in 1982. Hadn't seen it since. I was surprised the movie held up to today, though it was the 2002 edition, which had some minor enhancements.

Slept through the whole thing.

I wasn't planning to watch it at the theaters, but my friends finally convinced me to watch Avatar, and I must say I enjoyed all 3 hours of that movie.
It was visually stimulating.

Did you watch it in 3d? I personally loved the effects but could not handle 3 hours of it in 3d. Motion sickness took over after 2 hours. Last hour was me alternating between watching with my left or right while the other stayed closed.

Yeah, I watched it in 3D, and there were times I felt like ditching the glasses cause I didn't know if it was making that much of a difference.
I didn't get motion sickness, though. The only time I got sick watching a movie was that recent monster movie called ? ville (I can't remember the name).
