Did some research on the movie, and they said a lot of the stories were made up (even mentioned that the movie makers intentionally made up false web blogs to make people believe this is true).
But nonetheless, if I watch this, it'll be for entertainment value only.

Just watched the trailer for 4th Kind. Looks interesting. True-life alien abduction stuff creeps the hell out of me. Fire in the Sky almost sent me into shockwhen i first saw it.

When I watched Fire in the Sky I couldn't sleep that night. The next night I watched Alive (about that true life rugby team that crashed in the Andes and had to eat each other to survive) and I slept like a baby. I own that movie now. The next night in started thinking about Fire in the Sky again and couldn't sleep for the next 6 months without a nightlight in my mid teens. True story.

I was nuts about Alive when it came out, first the movie then the book. I've got a soft spot for true-life survival stories.

I rented "trick or treat" tonight. Cool movie. Thats great to hear. I thought the trailer for that looked really interesting. I think that movie was filmed almost two years, but it was stuck in limbo while they tried to figure out how to market it.

So I hear that new movie "2012" isn't as good as it looks. Was keen to watch it but I have friends telling me that besides disaster scenes, the plot is about as predictable as it gets. Anyone here thinks its any good?

I agree there's only so many times I want to watch the world get destroyed. Or I'll watch it, but I won't pay money for it

Nowadays, I just watch movie for the entertainment value--i.e. special effects, loud noises.
But I did finally watch "Up", and thought that was a really well thought out movie. Funny, clean, touching, and really good effects.

I took the girls to see New Moon and had also taken them to Twilight. I really expected not to like them but was surprised at how much I enjoyed them. I know they are probably not man movies, but I enjoyed them.

Aren't you surprised at how much movies cost these days? I can't imagine families having movie nights anymore, as they'll cost nearly $100 for a family of 4 (movie plus food).
Yesterday, we knew we were going to have a slow day at work, so my friend and I watched movies on his laptop. I finally got to see Gran Taurino and Ratatouille, and I enjoyed both of them.

It is ridiculous how much movies cost. We can't afford to take the whole family any more. I took Sarah to a matinee for this movie and it cost 9.00 each. Then it was another 22 for popcorn and soda for each of us. I couldn't believe it! I rarely go to the movies. About the only ones I go to are to take Sarah... Harry Potter and Twilight. I did see Paul Blart Mall Cop on Starz and that was really funny.

Heck yeah I'm surprised how much they cost. I usually do the movie thing like once a year and get a lot from the library and Wal Mart and the thrift store. And borrow from people.
