I saw Blair Wtich at the theaters. I don't know, for some reason, it just didn't strike a chord with me. I was bored, throughout most of the movie, and the only reason I stuck it out was because I figured it had to get better at some point. Then when the ending came, I was like, "was that it?" I gotta say, I was disappointed, after all I heard about.

I don't get to watch many movies as they are so expensive these days and with a household full of kids it is even harder. We did sneak out on a kind of date one night and watched Journey to the Center of the Earth and that was pretty good. The 3 D effects were great.

I rented Journey to the Center of the Earth. However, this was the version starring Treat Williams. Ironically, when I was watching the movie, I thought it was made for television (and it was released on television).

Transsiberian is good a thiriller Funny you mention that. Ive been waiting for this movie to get to Fargo, and it finally will this coming week. The reviews have been very good.

What did you guys think of "The Day the Earth Stood Still"?
I found it disappointing. Maybe I was expecting more, maybe I thought the story was going to have more impact, or maybe I'm just tired of Keanu Reeves' acting.

I just saw Flags of our Fathers on New Years Eve and I have to say I didn't really like it. Way too much talking and preaching. It's one of the very few war movies I didn't like

I just saw Slumdog Millionaire and it was amazing...I highly recommend seeing it though I think it was a limited release so maybe not every theater has it...Still, it was great and i was happy i chose to see it...

Limited release is the bane of any rural movie goer. I cant complain too much, because Fargo at least gets most smaller movies, albeit 6-12 weeks later than most cities. Ive looking forward to Slumdog for quite some time. Danny Boyle is one of the few directors that I'll pay to see regardless of the subject matter/genre. Im also looking forward to seeing Benjamin Button, Doubt, The Reader, Gran Torino, and Frozen River in the coming months.

Speaking of that, I just saw Gran Torino through ways i rather not say since it isn't released until Jan. 9th, and it was very good...Clint Eastwood has an incredibly strong presence in all his scenes and the movie itself is well-crafted and comes together to end very well...Some good humor and just a good movie all together..I definitely was pleasantly surprised even though i expected it to be good, just not that good...And yeah, Slumdog Millionaire was a very original and well directed movie...The camera angles and the way he goes about the storytelling really made the movie top-notch IMO...A bit touching and some scenes that really get to you(since it concerns the slums of India)...

Well-crafted is a good way to describe all of Eastwood's movies. They always look great.

Saw Valkyrie today. I haven't seen such a good movie in a looooonnnnnggg time and I'm not a Tom Cruise guy at all. I've never seen a movie like it. Well can you name me any good coup movies? It was just unbelievable and more accurate than 9 out of 10 Hollywood movies.

Saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tonight. Very unique, interesting movie. If you can handle the length (nearly 3 hours) you are in for a treat.
