NBADraftCity now has Warrick dropping about 5-6 slots. And Cs taking Fernandez. Again.

I am thinking that Danny will not move up, unless someone presents him a deal he can't refuse. Unfortunately for us, we do not (or will never know) his long-range plans. ;D

Danny will probably surprise everybody and trade up to get Felton! Maybe even Bogut!

Add that to the "move up, and take Chris Paul rumor". ;D
Derren would be happy too. ;D

DA isn't going to do what it would take to mvoe up to the top of the draft to take one of those PGs you folks are salivating over.

My 2 cents, & i know nothing about college ball:
1)stay away from Taft, he's going to be a bust 2)stay away from Warrick, bust 3)Jarren Jack, bust 4)i rate Bogut below Okafor, Howard & Jefferson. I also don't like the fact that he's not a good shotblocker.
For some reason, i think that there's a lot of garbage in this years draft, the lack of & orchestrated workouts only feeds this feeling. I think a lot of teams are going to be ripping their hairs out next year.
I think Danny will go Euro in the second round.

Bogut may not be as physically gifted as either Jefferson or Okafor, but he still has enough goods to be one of the top Centers in the NBA. When I say this, I'm not saying he's going to be a great Center. But compared to the Centers we currently have in the league, I see Bogut being one of the top Centers because of the lack of quality at that position. I mean, Blount is a top 15 Center in the league. Ilgauskas is near the top. Bogut has more talent than either of them.
Ossric, Bogut may not be the shot blocker Okafor is. Okafor is a terrific one on one defender. Bogut is a good shot blocker, but his strength in this area is his help side defense. He's like Raef in that he can block a lot of shots, but primarily from helping out the weak side. At Utah last season, he was nearly a 2 bpg shot blocker. I've caught a handful of games where he impressed me with his quick leaping ability and aggressive swiping at the ball to deflect it. He doesn't wait for the ball to get up in the air before taking a swipe at it. Shot blocking is not a weakness for him. I'd say its above average.

No Jason Kidds in the lottery, No Nash's, No KG's, no McGradys maybe not even a Pierce. I do see guys like Manu being 1st rd picks though. Just no stars are in this draft. It doesn't benefit the losing teams is basically what I'm saying. May is a waste of a pick for 18. In the late 1st rd, he wouldn't be. I say take the euro prospects because most of the college game is watered down rigt now. Until the age limit makes the college game stronger, there won't be many great college prospects. Not even Chris Paul

Again, there are not alot or any really can't miss players. I think this will be a decent draft. The issue w/ the NBA is not w/ the age limit, its w/ expansion. The more teams you have, the less talent you have on each team. Axe a few teams, then you will not need an age limit. The only aspect of the college game that is watered down is the "height" of players.

Height is an issue. I mean you figure when I was in hs, kids seemed to get smaller and smaller. Each yrs team was a bit shorter than the last ones and what not. College talent also seems to be going in that direction. I notice height is a factor. And who knows, the age limit might be overrated because there are 20 year olds now who are far from being good. Like its gonna make a huge difference? And about expansion teams, they shouldn't add any more. If anything, they should move nba teams down to the nbdl who do poor in sales and can't win like NO or the clippers and then leave another whole seperate nba draft for those stars off those bad teams like Elton Brand, Al Harrington and what not and then the developmental players on the hawks and clippers and hornets can go with the team right to the nbdl. Not a bad idea.

Great idea about demoting a losing franchise to the NBDL. Though, I am sure no owner would ever go for that.
From what I have seen, the players that are "tweeners", those who make it, usually do something else besides height which most players can't do. An added dimension to their game.
