Brad has a specific player in mind and is aiming to have a specific amount of cap available to get that specific player. He ain't budging. Means that specific player is more valuable than Evan Fournier.

I had two main issues with Ball.
First, his father is a jackass. Or at least was. I haven't heard too much from him lately. Maybe that isn't an issue any more.
Second, his shot was horrible as a rookie. But he is vastly improved there.
He's a great passer, an above average rebounder and solid defender. If we can get him for Smart I'm all for it.

So Brad has liked Josh Richardson from his days at Tennessee. And Udoka was on the coaching in Philly when Richardson was there (which means that Horford played with him too).
They mut believe he can be a positive.

What about Bobby Portis? Tons of energy, can shoot pretty well, tough, and plays a position we need to upgrade. And only 26 YO.
He just turned down his player option for $3.8 million. I wonder how much money it would take to sign him.

One thing I heard on the radio is that Jaylen and Jayson are apparently thinkers who are non confrontational, and respond way way better to a teacher like Al Horford or a cerebral player who doesn't get too high or too low, rather than a screamer or an intimidator like Tristan Thompson or Smart. This is why they think Lonzo Ball might be a good fit. I am pretty nervous about Portis in that scenario

I am pretty nervous about Portis in that scenario That explains why they didn't care much for Kyrie, and why Smart seems always to be on the outside. Players nowadays are so sensitive. But hey, if Lonzo is a better fit, and brings good production, and the team is happier, I'm all for it.

Adam Himmelsbach says we're interested in Jeff Green (and Rudy Gay).
Please No to Jeff Green. We already went through that experience (but I guess Brad has to experience it for himself).

There's a reason Jeff Green doesn't stay in one place very long. I'll pass.

Udoka was with Jeff Green in Brooklyn this past year. He knows first hand what Jeff Green can and cannot do, as well as his hot and cold demeanor.
Maybe Udoka knows how to coax the best out of Jeff Green.

What do you fuys think of Kyle Anderson?
He's apparently one of our target acquisitions. I like his height and ball handling, I like that he can knock down open three's -- I don't like how slow he is (that's what always held me back from liking him, back from his UCLA days).

If we are to believe the Sports news, then apparently we're also interested in Avery Bradley and Kelly Olynyk. Green, Bradley and KO...I'd laugh if we signed all of em. The only one Celtic I want back at this stage is Rozier.
Heck why stop there? Rondo is still an active player. Let's bring him back too! And I see Yabusele is playing for France in the Olympics, so why not eh?
