We brought in former NCAA players who for the past couple of seasons have played internationally. Gave them a tryout and seems like they impressed.
Nigel Hayes is a 6'8" PF/SF. I remember him at Wisconsin. I think they tried to use him more as a physical 4. Seems like internationally, they used his dribbling and slashing more (though he's neither quick or explosive). Seems to be in the mold of Semi Ojeleye, except a couple of inches taller. I don't know how his defense is, but he is a solid 3pt shooter when left open.
Zach Auguste went to Notre Dame. At 6'10" with a slender and slightly muscular build, physically he looks good. But skill wise, there's not a whole lot. He's more of a roll guy who can finish with basic moves.
Looks like we're trying to find inexpensive warm bodies to fill in at the 4 and 5.

JaMychal Green declines his player option and is set to be a free agent.
I'd like to being him here for the right price and have him compete with Rob for the starting 5 spot. He's only 6'8" but he's physical.

I'm reading that Horford is no longer mobile enough to play PF, meaning he'd have to play C. If that is true, Brad has some work to do.
Al Rob Thompson Moses Brown
Not even counting Tacko, who is a FA.

We need to find adequate replacements at Center. There are prospects in this draft who we may target with the 45th pick.

Bradley Beal is open to being traded to one of 4 specified teams -- we being one of those 4 teams.
Biggest question is -- will we be able to keep Jaylen Brown?

I guess when Luke Kornet is your 12th man it behooves you to get creative with youth and depth. Same thing with Semi.

I think Al is the trade piece here. I have faith in Moses B. He had a very good year

I'm definitely eager to see what Moses can do. I remember the game he posted huge numbers against us, but otherwise all I have to go on are stats on a bad team and that's always risky.

It is risky, and it is also how you get a guy like Ingram who has never been very good at anything other than inefficient shooting on bad teams, win comeback player of the year. To win that doesn't the player have to be good in the first place?

If you believe Bleacher Report, we are interested in Josh Richardson. Doesn't surprise me -- Udoka likes defense, and Richardson is an excellent wing defender. And he's an opportunistic scorer. For the right price, I'd certainly want him. m.youtube.com/watch?v=qj691U4CoTA

Draft day is here! Let's see what kind of trades happen today, especial with us.

Let's say no trades happen -- there are still player additions that could happen to fortify building around Tatum and Brown:
- bring in Yam Madar. If anyrhing, an upgrade over Tremont. - re-sign Evan Fournier - sign Josh Richardson
Fournier and Richardson will give us 2 veterans that are solid and reliable -- that in itself is big for this young team.
Brad still will need to make a splash for another big time player, but we're foing to be a mid level playoff team nonetheless (and could go further if Tatum and Brown take another step in their development).

We are one of a handful of teams interested in Ricky Rubio.
Doesn't play defense, and his perimeter shooting isn't top notch, but he knows how to direct an offense and pass the ball.
What do you guys think?

Shams says we are one of the teams looking at Lonzo Ball.

Shams says we are one of the teams looking at Lonzo Ball. Just what we need, add a bust to the roster. I am reserving judgement until our roster is complete. But as of now we are looking a lot like the Toine/Pierce era all over again.
