We have potentially 4 first round picks in summer 2019, our own, the better of the Kings or Sixers, and protected picks from Memphis and the Clippers. The jewel was thought to be the Kings' pick, but so far they are looking pretty decent at 6-3. Our dreams of another top 5 pick might be slipping away. But, it's earlier, injuries happen and you never know.

Looking at the standings an influx of picks in the teens doesn't bother me per se. Frustrating, but we can still do things with that, and I agree injuries can happen.

Question: would you rather have SAC or PHI draft selection this year?
Tonight, SAC lost by 35 to the same team BOS beat recently.

Sac pick should still be worth more, especially with Philly now getting Butler.

Sac pick should still be worth more, especially with Philly now getting Butler. I came up with the question reading a message board, which implied if PHI pick was worse then PHI would not make the playoffs and BOS would receive their selection.

We could have 3 lottery picks or no lottery picks. The West is so bunched up that the Clippers, Grizz and Kings could all make the playoff or all miss out.
We already have such a deep roster that it's hard to imagine us wanting to draft 4 players in the first round. I wonder if Danny might trade one or more of the extra picks for a future year pick or two. Or maybe package a couple of them to move up in the draft. I could see Rozier being thrown in to something like that.

After 37ish games we are in place to get all four first rounders: our own, Sacro's (top 1 protected), Clippers if they make the playoffs, and Memphis if they miss the playoffs but don't get top 8 pick. This is very fluid though. It would be a lot more fun if we had more than prayer at Zion Williamson. Would you trade say the 12th, 14th, 16th and 21st pick for a top 3 pick? If it's Zion I'd say you'd definitely have to go for it. Is there anyone else worth it this year?

Just as fluid as where the picks will land is the actual draft board, after Barrett & Zion which I am speculating will be the consensus [HASH]1 and [HASH]2. In 2016, Danny kicked the can and drafted Yabu, and Zizic knowing they would not be ready for the NBA the following year. I want a BIG out of this draft. RW3 was a solid selection last year, however Horford is aging, Theis probably will be out of BOS price range, and Baynes is 50-50 back with a player option.

If we’re trading for AD, we have no reason to keep up with this draft’s prospects. But nonetheless, some of us just have it in our blood 😁
I think RJ Barrett is overrated. He reminds me too much of Harrison Barnes.
Zion Williamson is the real deal. Even without a jumper, he impacts the game.
Romeo Langford is a safe bet to be a nice role player in the NBA.
Rui Hachimura is a late bloomer who has a chance to solidify himself in the lottery. The improvements he’s made from year to year is remarkable.
Not sure about Ja Morant yet. More explosive than DeAron Fox was coming out of college, but Fox played for a top college team against the best competition.

Jarret Culver from Texas A&M is looking like a solid two-way player. A glue type player, ala Andre Iguodala.

Darius Garland is a PG who could slide into the post lottery, who could turn out to be a fine pickup. Just a solid floor general and all around player.

Coming into the home stretch, it now looks like the Clippers are definitely in the playoffs, which means we get their pick this year. That'll be late teens/early 20s. Sacro will likely miss the playoffs, and we could get lucky, but it'll most likely be a late lottery pick, probably [HASH]14. Memphis is playing better and there's an outside chance they could win enough games to fall out of the top 8, which means we'd get their pick. Best case scenario is Sacro moves up to [HASH]2, we get that pick, and that drops Memphis down to [HASH]9, and we get THAT pick too. Hey, it could happen.

That’ll be great if that happens 😁
Even if Sacramento’s pick turns out to be 14 or whatever, there are enough quality players in this draft that I’d be content to select.
I’m not as high on Coby White as some others are, but I’d love to have him be our Eddie House-Patty Mills type catch-n-shoot player.

This seems to be another year where there is a consensus [HASH]1 pick and maybe a couple more guys in the next tier. If we wind up with the [HASH]9 pick (Memphis), the [HASH]12-14 (Sacro), the [HASH]19 (Clippers) and our own [HASH]24 or so, would you give them all up to move up into the top 3? And if you would, do you think anyone would be tempted?
I think it's either something like this or most of the picks go in a big play for Anthony Davis. I definitely don't believe we'll have 4 first round picks on our roster next year.
