Teams who are picking high in the lottery have been asking about Jaylen Brown.
I think Ainge has put it out there that he’s listening to offers for Jaylen for a high lottery pick.
If it happens, I’m hoping the target is DeAndre Hunter. I think this guy is going to be a good one, and can easily replace Jaylen.

I wonder if a trade like would be partly to free extra cap space to go big game hunting. Danny also has to be thinking ahead to next summer when Jaylen is a RFA. Would you offer him the max at that point? Iffy right? Maybe he wants to avoid putting himself in cap hell next summer.
Let Tatum grow. Bring in a top pick. Let Hayward walk in '21. Have a ton of space at that point.

That should factor in for trading Jaylen. He’s definitely not a max player, and I can’t see us shelling out 15-18 mil per year for him.
That may all change if he takes the proverbial big leap this year and averages 20ppg.

I'm happy I'm not Danny Ainge. Going to have to make some tough decisions.

Darn it, the Hawks traded up for the 4th pick, and are looking like they’ll take DeAndre Hunter. Good move for them, they’re building something nice there.

I think this is the least knowledgeable I've ever been about a draft. I did my mock and just went with the top 100 board unless I thought a team needed a certain position

I hear teams are calling about Jaylen. If we're gonna do a total rebuild we should listen. I doubt Ainge met with or scouted the top players so I expect him to say no but maybe if we were offered a top 5 guy or so and future picks we should take it

But now that it seems highly unlikely, unless we can jump in front of ATL @ 4, then we're not getting him. If not Hunter, I'd rather keep Jaylen. I don't think other wings will be as good as Jaylen (Culver, Reddish, Rui, etc).

The only reason to trade either player is if you think a max, or near max contract will not be issued contract #2.
