Seems Jae Crowder is still a candidate to be traded. But the pressure to trade him right away is no longer a factor (Bradley's trade ceased the need to get something done immediately).
Celtics are gauging the market to see if a worthwhile trade can be made.

Once a year, teams can use a mid-level exception (MLE) to sign a player to a contract for a specified maximum amount. The amount of the MLE and its duration depend on the team's cap status. The MLE was initially set at $5 million for a duration of four years for teams that are over the cap either before or after the signing, but under the luxury tax apron, which is $4M above the tax line. Teams above the luxury tax apron have an MLE that was initially set at $3 million with a three-year duration. Teams with cap room, previously ineligible for the MLE, have a new MLE, initially $2.5 million with a two-year duration. The MLE was frozen at the stated levels through the 2012–13 season, since then, it has increased by 3% per season (with the percentage based on the initial amount of the exception, and not compounded).[6] In turn, this means that MLEs in the current 2016–17 season are: $5.6 million for teams without cap room, below the tax apron $3.36 million for teams over the tax apron $2.8 million for teams with cap room Before the 2011 CBA, the MLE was equal to the average NBA salary for all teams over the cap. Teams with cap room were previously ineligible for the MLE.[6] The Mid-Level Exception for the 2008–09 NBA season was $5.585 million.[33] The MLE was $5.854 million for the 2009–10 NBA regular season.[34] Under the 2017 CBA, the apron will initially be set at $6 million above the tax line for the 2017–18 season. In a new feature, the apron will change from season to season, with the percentage change (up or down) set at half of the rate of change of the cap for that season.[9] Bi-annual exception[edit] The bi-annual exception was used to sign any free agent to a contract starting at $1.672 million. Like the mid-level exception, the bi-annual exception was also split among more than one player, and was used to sign players for up to two years, with raises limited to 8% per year. This exception was referred to as the "$1 million exception" in the 1999 CBA, although it was valued at $1 million for only the first year of the agreement. I think we have some exceptions and teams always have the minimum contract exception Yep, we get the room exception, which with the cap bump is around 4.5 mill (around 1/2 of the MLE).

Andrew Bogut maybe? Paul Gasol, as a backup?
Doubt Dewayne Dedmon comes for that price.
Mareese Speights?

Blakely says we're not done yet, as there are more things we need to do to get in position to challenge the Cavs. I agree with Sherrod, though trying to guess what Ainge is up to is out of the realm of possibility.
We have a really inexperienced bench:
Zizic, Yabusele, Theis, Nader, and Tatum will all be in their very first year in the league. Jaylen and Rozier have 1 & 2 years in the league, but they're still green.
Only guys with heavy minutes in the league are Marcus Smart and Marcus Morris (and Smart might be starting).

A name who might come back to us is... Tony Allen I could go for a second round of Tony Allen. He always loved being a Celtic.

If TA comes back I think our starting 5 would be like this IT TA Hayward Crowder Horford But if TA doesn't come back then I think our starting 5 should be IT Brown Hayward Crowder Horford

I really like listening to Brad talk cause you learn a bit about what he's thinking. Talking about Ojeleye, Brad said he didn't know he (Semi) could be matched up against 5's, due to his leverage and his strength. Brad is already impressed with his flexibility defensively. Brad thought that the key to stopping Zubac in the Lakers game was Semi guarding him, and then stretching him out on offense (Semi hit multiple 3's in that game). We now have 2 Jae Crowders on the team

In an attempt to enact revenge on us for stealing away Hayward, the Jazz signed Jonas Jerebko, and shouted "how do you like dem apples?!!".
2 years, 8 mil.
Good luck Jonas.

Jordan Mickey has been waived.
Not unexpected. And if you observe, you'll notice he isn't a "dog"'type. Not much fight in him. We are weeding these nonchalant types off the team, one by one.

Mickey's numbers in his first year in the D league had me thinking he would be a contributor at some point, but he never showed much at the NBA level. This was kind of a foregone conclusion.

He had a great opportunity here; it was wide open for him to fill a role. We needed a rebounder and defensive player in the worst way. But he couldn't even beat out Tyler Zeller.
For this type of guy, I have to wonder if he really has a passion for the game.

Nader signs a 4 year, 6 mil deal with us.
We're pretty set at the 3/4, so I don't know if he'll get much playing time. But I like Nader.
