If the plan this summer was to get Jimmy Butler and Gordon Hayward, it seems we are in place to pursue them after we made the trade to send Philly the top pick for their [HASH]3.
Jimmy and Hayward give us pretty potent offensive firepower to go along with Isaiah Thomas. We may see them 3 average 20+ ppg.
Jimmy and Gordon also give us more height and strength on the wings, which should help us defensively.
We automatically become a more dangerous and diverse team by adding these 2.
Butler has been able to guard Lebron, at least somewhat better than I've seen others do.

Or if CHI will take a package of [HASH]3 + Crowder + Rozier (and some second rounders), then we can still have Bradley:

Or what if we make a trade with SAC for their [HASH]5 and [HASH]10 -- would we still get CHI to trade Butler if we gave them the [HASH]5 + Crowder + Rozier?
Cause I'd like to keep the 10th pick and still add to our young talent pool.

From what I am reading, moving down to [HASH]3 frees up roughly $1.5 million in cap space - which we need to sign a max free agent. So if there isn't a big difference between Fultz and Jackson/Tatum, AND the extra money allows us to sign Hayward, AND we get either a 2-5 pick next year or the Kings pick the following year, that's not bad at all. Now, that's a big if and only time will tell how much we've given up in Fultz, and how good the [HASH]3 turns out to be, but while it's a risk, this could be a home run.

On tv they said the Bulls are willing to probably trade but they still want "Several picks and several controllable young assets." They can kiss my assets if that's the case

I don't think even Danny knows what happens next. If he has something solid on the table that involves trading the [HASH]3 we just got from Philly, why bother trying to get Jackson and Ball in for workouts? I think it's more likely that he is covering all his bases, and is ready to go either way, keep the [HASH]3 or trade it.
Question: Can Jaylen, Jackson/Tatum, and Hayward coexist on the court at the same time? If we draft Jackson or Tatum, does that mean the we don't go after Hayward?

I think in general these guys can coexist. Throw J Crowder in there and suddenly I'm not as sure. He'll have to play a lot of PF. That is a teeny tiny upgrade on KO at absolute best.

One thing I'm telling Crowder...."If you show you can defend PFs in this league you'll make a ton of money in a couple years. If you show you can score on them you'll make even more. If you show you're being selfish you'll make less."

Ainge has been bringing in players who have not projected to go before the 5th pick. Gotta wonder if he's preparing in case of a move down.

I actually want Ainge to move down and grab another chance at next year's lottery... I see the next class as being far more promising..especially on the big man position.

We potentially have 2 high lottery picks next year (Brooklyn's and Lakers'). Getting 3 would be unbelievable (though I'm sure Ainge will trade at least one of them for future picks). Next year, the 2 targets for me are Ayton and Porter. Doncic looks good too.

Agreed. Ayton and Porter gives us the big man we need to really contend. Fultz is good but he adds to a very full backcourt. Down the road I expect him to be an all-star calibre player if he finds his killer instinct...but for now he seems abit too..nonchalant
