I don't really have a strong opinion on Hunter, but he is a good value at 28.

Pretty cool to see the NBA give props to both Harvey Pollack and Rod Stern. Crazy to think that Pollack has been employed by the NBA since its very first season. Imagine the stories that guy had. Same with Thorn. Player, coach, GM, league exec. Dude has seen pretty much everything.

Well I'm disappointed the way the draft shook out for the Celtics. Never in a million years did I think the Celtics would make 4 picks never mind 3 of the 4 picks being guards. I like the Mickey pick it's a position of need at least. Rozier was a reach, I was thrilled to see Dekker on the board I think DA should have went with him. Yeah you could say Hunter was a value pick but I was never high on Hunter to begin with. Marcus Thorton was a real weird pick, another G from a small school. DA said some of these guys might get stashed but why stash a guy like Thorton? He's a senior from a small school not a high upside pick. Who gets stashed Rozier, Hunter, Mickey? I say none of those three will. Overall considering team needs I'm disappointed.
Mason Plumlee and Pat Connaughton got traded for Blake and the 23rd pick. I think I would have rather had that then Rozier considering all of our guards. DA acquired all these picks to make trades, I know it takes two to tango but he acquired them he needs to make something happen with them. DA said prices were high to trade up. Were they or is DA overvaluing his assets (I feel he's notorious for that)? Winslow was on the board at 9 we should have over paid a little to get that pick. We still have a !!!GREENIAC!!! load of picks in the future we needed to flip some to move up this draft.
