Draft night I usually either really excited, or really unexcited. Examples:
(Excited): the draft where BOS selected Al Jefferson
(Unexcited): the draft where BOS traded D Jones, and another selection for Marcus Banks and Kendrick Perkins
note: who would have known that Perkins would be the best player out of the 4 very late in that draft

Silver is announcing the passing of Harvey Pollack in tribute of the great 76ers. That's probably why Silver took time getting out there.

We didn't make a deal with the 76ers, but there was talk we were trying to make a trade with the Knicks for the 4th pick. We'll see in a few minutes if it happened.
