TJ Warren isn't a consistent perimeter threat, and that will keep him grounded. I can't count him out from achieving big success in the NBA just yet because players can improve their shooting form and touch, ala Michael Redd.

Hard to gauge Glenn Robinson III. He's got so much going for him, but just hasn't reached the elite level in college.
But you can just see that if it all falls into place, he's going to be a good one.

Nik Stauskas, I wanna be a believer, but I'm hesitant because so many prospects never pan out. But his shooting peripherals are great. They were really good last year too, as a freshmen, but across the board he improved them (except for his free throws, but not complaining because he went from 85% to 82%, which is still darn good).
Not taking him with a top 7 pick, but definitely in consideration if he's still there with the Brooklyn pick

Niki "buckets" Stauskas Zach LeVine Montrezl Harrell
These are my 3 I like the most that hopefully are still there with Brooklyn's pick. I think Levine has most upside, think Harrell or buckets could be a good fit for the celtics.
Buckets looks like he knows what he does well and know how to get his shot off. Also can handle the ball pretty well for a SG. Harrell is another guy that I think knows what he does well. Reminds me of a shorter deandre jordan with a little more skill. Runs the floor well and Already has an NBA body and his leaping and length make up for his height I believe.

It will be interesting to see what Harrell measures. Gotta love that kid's motor.

He's limited offensively, so you gotta have some good scorers in the lineup to compensate.
At 6'8", I think he can play PF in the NBA because of his wingspan and strength.

Some scouts believe he could be as short as 6'6". That would be an issue.

Yeah, I think you had mentioned that to me before. But I've seen him listed at 6'8". 6'6" will hurt his stock.

Embiid will declare for the NBA draft, according to Woj (very credible guy).
Embiid tweeted future Kansas Jayhawk and current star high schooler saying he hasn't made a decision yet, but I think that just means he hasn't made his decision public yet.
Even with his back issues, he will most likely go high. His upside is too much to pass up.

Gordon is a young freshman but plays with tremendous poise. I really believe in this kid. He makes plays and will be a versatile player once he tighten his handles and tunes up his shooting. I know he's going to work hard on these things.

And his defense is already one of the best in college. It speaks volumes when his coach in the most crucial point of the most crucial game of the season, tells him to guard a 7 foot Center who is the team's best offensive weapon. And he did a good job at it.

I like Aaron Gordon a lot. If our top pick isn't where we want it (top 3), I'd be happy if the Celtics picked him.

He's definitely in my top 10, maybe even top 6.

I'm not a huge fan of Gordon as the Celtics first pick. Don't get me wrong I see the argument he is a great defender high motor freakishly athletic......but he just can't shoot. I'd like to have a SF who can shoot and carry the offensive load on a lot of nights and Gordon you just can't depend on for that. .422% FT shooter from your SF is hard to swallow. That could become kind of a liability at the end of close games. Drummond is literally the worst in the NBA and he shoots .415 FT%.
I easily see there being better players on the board when the Celtics pick rather then Gordon. If he fell for some reason to the Celtics second 1st rounder I wouldn't mind. One thing I do know is DA has been at Arizona games this season.

Granted, if Gordon doesn't develop an outside shot, he's going to be severely handicapped from reaching stardom.
But he's really young, shows great intangibles (attitude, work ethic, motor), and has tools that point towards him being a successful player.
But that perimeter shot is what's going to make or break him.
