Yeah, defense off the bench is really good. We have a lot of offensive firepower in the lineup and off the bench, but I believe Gomes has more to offer than just offense. I think Gomes is another player who just has the feel for the game, and these types of players tend to make things happen.
Having both at our disposal is going to be a big advantage.

But the same can be applied to Brian Scalabrine, who's signed for a longer term with more money.

Shows you the depth we have on the team, or have the ability to have. The depth on this team in a few years is going to be unbelievable. I can't imagine even more young guys coming in. Although what I think is Danny is gonna have fewer roster spots and more cuts to make so he might trade a bundle to get a top defensive player like Tayshaun Prince plus Detroit needs offense and 3pt shooting off the bebnch so who knows. I have a feeling Danny will package some of the talent not naming Perkins, Green or Al J.

Yeah, sooner or later, Ainge is going to have to trade a bundle of players to get back a specific need. Its all in his plan. Step 1, draft good players. Step 2, develop players. Step 3, trade players for specific needs.
We just have a roster that's too crowded. We have a bunch of solid role players and some of them will be packaged to get us a player to help us get over the hump.

i think that the biggest problem is that a lot of players need development at the same time. and unfortunately the development comes with playing time

I just got back from Lithuania and I also picked Scala. He is one of the experienced forwards, whereas pg is a logjam that Dickau may have a harder time emerging from

I admit I had a harder time with the country this year. The food and language are HARD fot me and I am usually pretty good with languages. But i do like being able to buy Polish sneakers that look like nikes for abou $8

Yea, hopefully it will be a really good player whos in the league right now like a Prince or something. Just any player who the c's need who is nearly an untouchable for their teams now.

Even if Chandler came with Hinrich I wouldn't care. But I am still not high on Chandler like some of you.
