Somebody early in his thread pointed out that Dickau went to the same school as Stockton and then called him a poor man's Stockton. I'd like to point out that the fact that they went to the same school means absolutely nothing. By that theory Joe Forte is a poor man's Jordan. He's not.

I like to clarify my stance on Banks. I do not hate the guy, nor do I think he is a waste of talent. I think he is incredibly gifted with athleticism and his speed is nothing to sneeze at.
If used as a backup PG who provides a quick scoring punch and defense, I think that's where he can be most effective. Trying to change him into a pass first PG is not utilizing his talents.
But since he has some value around the league (hey, what young, athletic, quick, and defensive minded PG isn't valued in this league?), and since we have some promising young PG's who could replace some of his abilities who come at a cheaper price, it makes sense to package him in a deal. He's a type of player who can tip the scale into getting the trade done.

I feel Marcus will be good eventually but just not with this celtic team. I could see him as an undersized sg somewhere else or a guard who is just neither but is a sparkplug and a good defender. And that Troy Bell statement I made was a bit harsh.

i think dickau, banks, west will be our rotation, greene will be in nbdl. bynum may get to nbdl but more likely will end up being cut Greene will be around - beacuse I say so...!  I mean DA will want him close at hand. Bynum could end up on our NBDL team, if another team doesn't give him more cash. |

in order to keep him we have to have him on our roster. if the celts put him on the nbdl team then he belongs to us as long as we have a contract with him. if he's cut he can be signed by anyone as usual

I was just figuring if another team wanted Bynum bad enough to pay him more money, DA would let him go. Just depends on how bad DA wants him.
