Speaking of snow, it has snowed (3) times in December in CT. One aspect about weather that I find interesting is that it differs between county. Example - I live in New Haven county, and work in Hartford county; today by work it was very cold and icy; by my home, it was mild and dry.

A buddy of mine's parents had a Christmas tree farm. It's a tough thing to start because you have to wait several years before you start making any income. But once you're a few years in i think it's a decent racket. My aunt and uncle go to an abandoned te farm and cut down a 25-30 footer for free! I buy a 12 footer and it's not cheap, 80 bucks... Oh yeah I'm in the dead center of Massachusetts, so we see plenty of snow being at a high altitude Derren i've got a log home so if you want to dui an authentic house swap for a week I'll go to Hawaii DiLLiGaF |

Yesterday was nicest day we've had all winter. High 20s/low 30s. Compared to how it had been it feels like a heat wave. But sadly there is another cold front coming through. It's clost to 30 right now, but by tonight we will be close to -25. Not looking forward to that.

Lately, the weather has been weird here on the island. We've had some relatively cold days (for Hawaii standards) like sub 70 degree (this morning was 66 -- a bit chilly for my liking). But yesterday it was warm and muggy. Its been going on like this for the past month, like someone's turning the ac off and on.
Today seems like a good day, so far.
