Like you said Powe is the better defensive player right now. Davis is getting better and shows flashes on the defensive end but he still has lapses. The thing is Powe is probably just as good, but Davis needs to play I think and he's doing a good job. He's better offensively and isnt really giving up a lot defensively. We should play them both. We are while we can which will keep them fresh like you said. When pollard and posey come back its going to be tricky again though....

Is Pollard hurt? I thought Doc was just not playing him?

I think they are both hurt. Not sure though. They could just be taking time off for all we know.. you never know those things. Belicheck does that all the time where he doesnt list guys on the injury report and doesnt play them or he will list them sometimes. It's weird how he does that. They both probably could play imo but they are a little banged up.

I do remember reading Pollard missing practice because of an ankle but i could've sworn that was a week or so ago...I'm pretty sure Posey could play(i think it was Gorman who said he was playing with the injury for a couple games already but the staff thought it would be better to fix it up now and rest)..

They are both probably just a little banged and both could play but we are just using this as a time to get some other guys time. It's middle of the season right with the allstar break coming up, and it makes sense that we'd want to get pruitt and scal and powe some minutes and give some guys an extended rest.
pierce basically said this during a press conference a few days back he said something like this is an opportunity to get some guys some time that might help us in the long run.
