Against the knicks we basically gave Allen 21 and increased his minutes instead of sticking Posey out there for 5 which would have been useless for posey to play 5 minutes. We basically have room for a couple guys to get 15-20. I couple guys to get 10-15 and one who gts like 5-10. Thats the way its been all year. AGainst he knicks TA and House each got 20. Davis and Powe got 12 and 14 and Scal got 5. Posey was the odd man out along with Pollard and Pruitt. Because we are going with a starting lineup that commands a lot of minutes and should there is no feasable way to play more than a 9 or 10 man rotation and get people actual minutes. yes your correct with the basic outline of minutes..Therefore, the order of our roster is the starters, Posey, House, TA, Big Baby, Pollard, Scal, Powe/Pruitt..Why Powe was thrown to the bottom of the roster is the question when it was obvious he brought the toughness and energy(similar to Big Baby) to this team..Scal brings boos and cheers from the crowd and pollard brings his beard...Give Powe those 8 minutes consistently and some games increase that when he's playing well and someone else like is struggling or hurting us more than helping..Glad we agree... And yes, it's obsessive what we did lol, going into exact minutes and crap like that but it's not really obsessive to point out why isn't Powe ever on the floor?(which he wasn't until the last two games)..We saw Scal/Pollard get 5 or so minutes many times but we never saw Powe, even sometimes in garbage minutes which was surprising..

But powe is on the floor. And this post was made after the fact. Derren asked why Powe isnt playing when he is playing. These questions have been asked repeatedly is the point and it does get obsessive. I dont care who is playing. I think Doc is doing a good job and will figure these things out and he has. You have to admit 90% of the posts of late have been what do we need and what we should change instead of actual posts about what "we are actually doing." That is obsessive. It's just filling up blog space and I feel ilke AI here saying we are talking about practice??? We are 33-6. There has to be something better to talk about. Next thing we will be talking about why Doc doesnt have Big Baby on the trampoline more in practice. We aren't that far off here. That is just as much mathetically impossible.

Next thing we will be talking about why Doc doesnt have the team run more suicides in practice. We aren't that far off here. Actually I think Doc needs to make Scal run a few more suicides at practice because he's definitely packing a bit more than usual, rather he be lean to go for those flashy dunks..It wouldn't hurt to make Big Baby run a few more but not too much, still want him to be big..and maybe Doc himself should run a few too, it couldn't hurt...Oh yeah, what were we talking about? Obsessive, nah

Sorry i changed that to why isn't Big Baby on the trampoline in practice more after you quoted it, because it was funnier.

Shame I missed it, though i don't think the trampoline can hold Big Baby's weight..at least mathematically ;D

Neither do I. I can picture Baby going off on a trampoline though. Put Davis, BArkley, Shaq and Dik Beveta all on a trampoline and see what happens. That's entertainment.

Would be a nice halftime show...Have you gone to a Celtic's game this year? I only went once two years ago and i would certainly have loved to see Barkley, Shaq, and Dic Beveta on the trampoline all at once..

I havent been able to get to the c's this year it sucks. I just started a new job and i was low on cash before the season started. I had those 10 game packs for the past few years with a friend of mine but they did away with them thsi year. I'm hoping to get to a game.

^It's impossible to get tickets, i'm serious..Their either really expensive or there aren't any available..When i went the tickets were cheap and there was sooo many deals cause they were pretty mediocre at the time but i don't care, still got to see a game winning layup by Pierce against the Bobcats and a Ricky Davis dunk..I'd do anything for tickets to a game that fits my schedule..

I went to a few sox games this year but the c's i haven't. Yeah the C's are tough to get tickets now. I wasn't about to shell out for season tickets although i almost did. It would have been a pain though bceuae i cant go to every game and i would have been trying to sell a lot of the seats. It was fun going to the games, especially when they made that run in the eastern conference finals a few years back i had playoff tickets for that whole thing. But it's just as fun watching it on tv after a while. I'm going to try to get playoff seats though. I saw them last year and every year before several times.

Watching on TV is pretty good that's true..Listening to Mike and Tommy is a treat, can't do better than that in terms of announcers..Tommy's a homer but you gotta love the passion and those bits of wisdom he offers at certain points, and Mike Gorman is the best play by play announcer IMO...

You can't beat the energy of seeing them live during a big game though. I had playoff seats for that eastern conference run a few years back. my arm still hurts because my friend kept punching my arm the entire series because of the energy level. I cant imagine what this will be like compared to that. It's going to be nuts. It sucked so bad when pierce missed those ft's.

You know what is so great about the celtics though? is the tradition has stayed with teh team. As bad as the team has been the tradition has changed somewhat but it's still the same organization. Red is gone but it still is the celtics. Some teams I used to like when i was younger are completely different teams now and its almost like its just the uniforms that are the same. But the c's have kept that tradition. It's a new building. the garden is gone. Red is gone. But the tradition still is veyr strong. The same with the red sox and most boston based teams. EVen with Aigne there the tradition is still upheld and talk about red and his principles and it still is there.

I hate it when Tommy isn't there..This year he missed a road trip and it was kind of dead without him..And i can only imagine what it was/and will be like in the playoffs..The season and playoffs are completely different..Pierce has had lots of nice runs with the C's in the playoffs(largest comeback against the Nets) but it'll be amazing this year...Even our bench cheers like a crazy fan! I love that about our bench, we act just like fans at our bench(house, posey, everyone!).. Pierce had a good relationship with Red and i really think Garnett appreciates the tradition along with Ray who's just a classy guy in general..We're using the old uniforms this year and i just think the only thing that's changed is that now we have our own dancers I just hope the new generation after them keeps the tradition..Also, i was happy to see the starters(at least Rondo and Perk) give a pound to Tommy before the game, i thought that was cool..It's good to see Clifford Ray involved with the team and i think it's important we keep our ties with the old greats..
