Till this day, I can't figure out how Forte turned out so wrong. Same here. He could have been a pretty solid SG/ spot PG for us. His head is just wired wrong, I guess. Incidentally, Rashad McCants is very similar to Forte in that regard, which is why I'm a bit hesitant to endorse him as a guy I want in Celtics green. He's a heck of an offensive player, but there's a few nuts and bolts loose in the noggin.

I have this odd feeling we are going to be drafting McCants. Unless we move up, players like Felton, Villanueva, etc will be gone.

i sure hope not, i think mccants will go higher. much like gordon last year someone will value his winning history. i'd even prefer garcia over mccants

Actually, drafting McCants is not necessarily a bad thing, if he's not a head case. As far as basketball talent, McCants is an incredible player. In many regards, he's like former UNC standout, Jerry Stackhouse, in the way he can score in so many different ways. Remember Stackhouse averaged nearly 30 ppg one year in Detroit. So comparing him to Stack is not meant to criticize. I like McCants quite a bit, and if I know he's not going to be a headcase, I'd be happy to grab him. But there's always the problem of how to coordinate the minutes among Pierce, Ricky, Tony, Delonte, and McCants. So while he'd be a nice pickup (assuming he's not wacky like Forte), he'd just crowd things at the 2 and 3.

Big SF or a defensive minded big men.
So, I'm game for drafting Hakim Warrick , Shelden Williams, Joey Graham,or Ronny Turiaf.
If they can get a intimidator who likes to rebound and block shots then I'll be happy.

I truly believe our team can move up to the top 10 somewhere. But it definitely will not be in any place to draft Bogut like Derren dreams on.

If they can get a intimidator who likes to rebound and block shots then I'll be happy. Well, Perkins is already our future defensive minded big man who can intimidate. Taft is a guy who could provide us with shot blocking and rebounding, but his scoring ablity could potentially put him higher than Perkins.

W/ Taft there is alot of just that...potential. I think he will be a bust in this year's draft.

W/ Taft there is alot of just that...potential. I think he will be a bust in this year's draft. That is a possibility, I won't deny that. But from what I've seen and the demeanor he plays with, his chances of succeeding outweighs his potential to be a bust. IMO, Hakim Warrick has just as much bust potential as Chris Taft.

Hakim, from what I saw of him this season, looked like a prospect. But, a big but, he needs a guard that will give him the ball where he wants it, and mostly above the rim.

Who does Hakim resemble most in the current nba? If I had to take a random guess, Tim Thomas or Kwame Brown?

Who does Hakim resemble most in the current nba? If I had to take a random guess, Tim Thomas or Kwame Brown? I'll get back to you on that. I'm having a hard time thinking of whom he reminds me of. I'm sort of leaning toward Ed Pickney with more athleticism and less toughness, but that's not whom I really want to say.

My vote goes to Tim Thomas. Sort of---but not really. Thomas plays more like a SF the way he roams the perimeter and uses his slashing skills. But Warrick pretty much plays 13 feet and in, which makes him more of a PF than a SF. Plus, Warrick does not have the dribbling skills to resemble Tim Thomas. Body-wise, I see the similarities.

He might have a bodytype like Rodman did only not as strong.
