My thinking is to move up to draft Felton,or May (if he declares), or draft a player to keep overseas. The draft will be deep, but not that deep.
Regardless, of what people think of Hodge, I think he is worth a shot.

Regardless, of what people think of Hodge, I think he is worth a shot. I had hopes for Hodge during his sophomore year. But after watching him the last 2 years, I figure he's now worth only a mid second round pick. If Justin Reed was a 40th pick, Hodge should go lower than that. He's lost quickness and he's lost his shot. He's a slow SG who can't shoot now. I think he's just a marginal prospect now. A couple of years ago, I felt he was lottery bound.

Derren. what do you know about the Cavs pick. I know the celtics dont get the pick this year but i just want to know if it is lottery protected and if we can wait to use it. I think that with the current turmoil in cleveland that could be a valuable pick especially if Lebron leaves after his rookie contract is done.

What kind of upside does Randolph Morris have?
I can see Celtics taking a chance on this kid especially if Blount and Walker are gone. I know Morris supposively has the ability to be a dominate center.
So, Can anyone give me any details about this kid?

JHVOS, I watched a few Kentucky games this season because I'm a fan of Rajon Rondo--and I've come to appreciate Sparks' game too, though I doubt he's going to get drafted.
Randolph Morris had some hype coming out of high school, but from the games I've seen (between 3 - 5 games), I don't get the feeling that he's a dominant Center in the making. He does seem to be solid all around, but nothing special. He's got a sturdy body and he's a bit more mobile than Perkins. Didn't seem to have a lot of offensive skills, but this takes time to develop. Seems like a good rebounder because he's not shy of contact and uses his body well.
I hear he's coming out this year, which doesn't excite me at all. He still needs development. At this time, I don't forsee him going any higher than the early/mid second round, if he's intent on staying in the draft and not pulling out.
If I'm Ainge, I don't draft any Center unless they are better than Perkins. I don't feel that Morris will be better than Perkins.

I think one other guy asked this question but can anybody tell me why the celts don't have the 2nd round pick of Galden State this year? I see on nbadraft.net the pick is protected thru top 40 (whoever heard of such a thing? I admit it's clever seeing how there's always one or 2 good 2nd rounders in the top 2nd round), but I also see Golden St is getting # 42. Has anyone figured this out? Will we ever get it?

gsw's pick is top 40 (only in gsw ;D can happen something like this)protected meaning we would get it if it was nr 41. notice that we would only get gsw's own pick. the 42nd pick gsw has right now is someone else's pick which was owed to gsw

Do we get a future 2nd rounder if we don't get it this year? i assume so since it's protected. Danny is pretty good with 2nd rounders.
