Yep, Doc will quickly change whats working so that we fall back down to the ground.
Ferbo, Jefferson did tail off after the first quarter, but that's because the ball stopped going to him. In the 2nd and 3rd quarters, he barely received touches in the post. That's one of the problems with this young team that needs improvement. We go away from Al for long stretches, and it takes him out of rhythm.

A couple things bothered me about Doc's coaching last night. One was not keeping Perk in with Al longer. Another was not going to Al in the post in the second and third quarters. The biggest problem was calling the last play for Wally to take a 3. If I was playing to win, I would go with the hot hand. Wally has been struggling and very obviously doesn't have the legs to hit 3's. Green was hot so why not go with him. After the game, Doc said that Wally is our best 3 pt shooter now. Does this guy not know his team??? Green is shooting 47% from beyond the arc compared to 36% for Wally. I just don't get Doc sometimes.

DM====thanks for that word about AJ and the ball not going in to him. That is Doc's fault. I remember how slowly DJ sometimes got the ball into the post. Just waited u ntil the right setup. it is not solely a PG problem, but starts there---after Doc.
I understand the logic of getting other guys involved. But I think there is a lot in the conventional wisdom of "going with the hot hand."
A hot hand in the middle will pull other defensive players in to help on the post, which will givwe better shows for whomever they should be defending. Doubt that there are that many perimeter players who would rather shoot with a hand in their face than have a wide open shot.
