Good outings by Telfair and GGreen tonight. Both players deserve extended looks in the 2nd half. Perkins is consistent solid. Right now, Jefferson needs to be in the game with Perkins to shore up that defense and rebounding. I wouldn't mind seeing Powe come in here.

The report on Pierce is that his foot is improving but he will still have the boot on for at least a week. Doc is hoping that he may be able to practice by Jan 19 as an arbitrary date.

Q at the half - Celtics played a very decent half of basketball. And Doc did a good job distributing minutes and the Celtics got some favorable matchups. However, the FT discrepancy worked against Boston - due to poor defensive play and lack of rebounding (Gooden).

Looks like we got a game going on here - Both sides have picked up the intensity level and it is actually fun to watch. Lebron is applying the screws with the help of the refs brownnosing.

The replay shows it was very close so they may reverse it. The FT disparity is 29 -12. and it isn't like we aren't taking it to the basket and aren't aggressive because we are. They just aren't calling the fouls against the Cavs and as Tommy says they are manufacturing fouls against us.

Q at the turn - Cleveland is getting all the calls and all the foul shots as they simply have wrested the initiative from the Celtics. There is still time to preserve a fine Celtic effort with a win. Hopefully Gerald Green will do something special in the 4th. That shot be Lebron counted, tough break.
