With the tourney he’s had, and now with his excellent showing at the combine, indon’t think Dontae will last to 27.
I definitely feel he’s an Ainge and Brad type of player. I’d even say he could be Rozier’s replacement if Terry gets too expensive.

With just a month to go, we're going to start ramping up the draft mill very soon, as more mocks sites will be posting their draft picks, and we begin hearing who's rising and who's sliding. Here's NBADraft's info for the combine measrements. Some guys were taller than I expected. www.nbadraft.net/2018-nba-draft-combine-measurements

According to a guy named Adam Zagoria, he reported that Donte DiVincenco worked out for Danny Ainge, and later had a lunch meeting.
This is terrific news because Danny and Brad are keen on players' characteristics (which may be the reason why Markelle Fults is not a Celtic).

Also said Ainge is in the hunt for a second rounder. There are a lot of guys I'd be interested in, in the 2nd round.

Does Danny like small, shifty, sparkplug scoring types off the bench? Thinking back to Eddie House, Sebastian Telfair, Phil Pressey, Nate Robinson, Demetrius Jackson, Shane Larkin, etc. we've always seemed to have small guys on the team who had these traits.
This might determine who we may look at in the draft. With Danny said to be interested in acquiring a second rounder, there are a number of smallish type of quick guards we may be targeting.
Khyri Thomas Josh Okogie Malik Newman Aaron Holiday Carson Edwards (we've worked him out) Elie Ikobo Anfernee Simons Jaylen Brunson Tony Carr Devonte Graham DeAnthony Melton

Danny's favorite place!!
If we want Donte, we definitely have to move up from 27 to get him.

At 27, I'm looking at Mitchell Robinson...big 7 footer who can come in and provide big man minutes off the bench defensively...and perhaps grow from there to being a solid pick and roll scorer with rebounding as his focus.

Mitchell Robinson is the mystery player who is hard to gauge where he’ll land.
Extremely raw, but talented indeed. If i had to guess, i don’t think he’ll be around at 27.

Maybe he’s not the academic type. That may, or may not, cause him to slide.

I am fairly certain Danny will take BPA. [HASH]27 is crap shoot, however legendary GMs have made their mark here (ex: Buford).

All-time best, Ginoboli 6th round by SAS/RC Buford.
