Me too. I wish it was possible to somehow bring him back. That's the shame of not getting durant last year. if we had durant under contract, we could've resigned KO this year.

I'm very sad to see Kelly leaving the Celtics. He is my grandson's favorite player and he is also sad that Kelly won't be a Celtic this season. I liked Kelly's personality and will miss all the comments about his hair and the "bun watch" since for some bizarre reason he played much better with a bun. I hope he lands in a good situation because he deserves it.

I liked KO the person more than KO the player. I hope he finds a way to realize his potential on a more consistent basis, except when playing us of course.

Danilo Gallinari will sign a three-year, $65 million contract with the Nuggets who will then send Gallinari and his new deal to the Clippers.
Los Angeles will send shooting guard Jamal Crawford, reserve center Diamond Stone, the Houston Rockets’ 2018 first-round pick (top-three protected) and cash to Atlanta.
The Hawks will send Paul Millsap — who agreed to a three-year, $90 million contract with the Nuggets on Sunday — and the Washington Wizards’ 2019 second-round pick to Denver.

Per Mannix, two league executives consider Marc Gasol a player to watch as Celtics angle for further upgrades. Like Fresh said, how can we afford to trade for Marc Gasol? We'd have to trade away some of our key core players. Ultimately, we'd have to give up too much, he's making a lot, and he's 32 years old. Actually, I don't mind the age and the salary so much -- it's the giving up assets (draft picks) and young players (Tatum and Jaylen) that I don't like. |

Getting Gasol will weaken the Grizzlies further and maybe they'll look to be in tank/rebuild mode. We own their future draft pick, so maybe there's an added bonus here.
