The one thing I don't want to do is trade with the Sixers and be in the position of hoping that the Lakers don't take the player we want. I wouldn't do any trade that involved taking that risk. I doubt Ainge makes such a risky move. He must have multiple players he's fine taking at 3.

And don't forget that we're bringing in Dennis Smith Jr for a workout today.
No mock draft had Smith going that high, so it opens up further conversation that maybe we could be drafting lower than 3 (maybe Sac's 5?).

If Boston really is trying to get him in it says this is nowhere near a done deal

I was desperate enough for news I watched Sportscenter today. I am feeling Catholic shame now and not the good kind

Mark Stein has raised an interesting point that I don't think I agree with at all......"Among the many questions post-trade: How does the Boston/Philly deal impact Kyle Lowry's July? The Sixers are obviously no longer an option."

There are some people saying that one of the reasons that Danny traded down was because of all the guards the Celtics already have. Some others disagree with that reasoning. Larry Flynn is going with that and assuming that Jackson is going to the Lakers because of his cancelling the workout with the Celtics. So he thinks it's Tatum. I liked what I read about Jackson. Now have to go read about Tatum. But, It will probably be someone else altogether.

Unless we have a deal in place or someone calls who wants someone it seems to me Ainge has to take whoever is there between Jackson and Tatum and may have to make a decision on that. I think both are better or as good as Fox (not known as a shooter) and it gives us a little insurance in case someone like Hayward doesn't come here. We need length up front and Tatum/Jackson offer at least some. Either them or Crowder can move over to PF at least sometimes.

It's starting to look to me like while Fultz was the consensus [HASH]1 the consensus may not have been by lots. Maybe the over/under on all star appearances is like 7 and they're 90% sure it will happen whereas Jackson is 5 and they're 85% sure it will happen so giving up a whole lot was maybe never going to happen

NESN Report- In addition to the overcrowded backcourt, Boston "had serious concerns about Fultz being a winner. Too many red flags there to pick him at [HASH]1." It would appear that Josh Jackson agrees.
