Philly wants Jackson. Lakers want Fultz.
That leaves Ball, Tatum, and Fox as the next highest rated players on the board (maybe Smith, maybe Isaac).
I doubt it's Ball because he's limited offensively and his defense is in question.
It could be Tatum, and I'd be happy.
It could be Fox, and I'd instantly be feeding him cheeseburgers to bulk him up some.

The thing that caught my eye (from the above) is that Fultz has struggled against elite competition. That is a huge red flag for me - as the NBA is full of guys who were elite players in college. I don't know if it speaks to ability or compete level, but it's not a good sign.
I watched some video of Jackson and I thought he looked pretty good on offense. Now, I know these are highlight clips, but I thought he showed some nice variety to his offensive game and he's an absolute beast going to the hoop.

Another rumor is the Lakers sending the [HASH]2 and Julius Randle for the C's [HASH]1. Reportedly Magic "loves" Fultz.

Which is why I think Fultz is going #1. One thing that would make tons of weird sense. I suspect it is possible DA has Fultz ranked 4th.

I am just so conflicted! I read one thing and think maybe Fultz isn't so good then I read something else and want him on the Celtics like really bad. Then I read something else and want Jackson and then I read something else and think maybe he's not such a good fit. I'm beginning to think I should just stay away from all media until Thursday. I'll be a wreck by then. www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2017/06/16/the-transformation-markelle-fultz/VNOZVzt1KkNoyHmDmLnYJO/story.htmlI just read this article and really want Fultz again. I'm a mess... a complete mess!!

Yeah, if it isn't fun, just tune out for a few days. What we think doesn't matter anyway, right?

LAL could mess up a potential deal, however BOS/PHI could have a contingency plan:
>BOS selects Fultz >Phi selects Jackson >Phi gets the player they want, either Fultz or Jackson >Deal is off if LAL selects Fultz or Jackson

Well, if Ainge likes Fultz, he's gotta keep that #1 pick, cause Fultz might not last to #3.
If he trades the top pick to Philly, and they take Jackson, then the Lakers could take Fultz at 2.
If Ainge is willing to take this chance, well it seems he's ok with missing out on Fultz cause he's more than happy to get whoever he'll take at 3.

We don't get our optimal choice, but we're more than happy with what we have -- though I'm sure Ainge would love to get his hands on those future draft picks.

It would seem that Danny wants either Fultz or Jackson but would rather Jackson from all the rumors that are floating around. I think that if Danny does the deal and the Lakers take Jackson at 2 he should have a contingency to nix the deal if that happens. Although, it would be hysterical if the Celtics ended up with Ball since the Celtics are the ONE team in the league he doesn't want to go to LOL

The knock on Jackson is his shot. Just came across this My knock on Jackson is not necessarily his 3pt shot, but rather if he has isolation moves to be a go to scorer. If he can do everything else well, but not have one on one win moves, he's not a star player, but a really good NBA starter.

The 76ers must be desperate to get whoever they want at 1.
We're not sure exactly who it is they want -- Fultz or Jackson; but whoever it is, they're DESPERATE for him.
They're willing to give up HUGE draft picks to get the guy they want.
2017 #3 pick 2018 Lakers unprotected 1st round (could be a #1) A future unprotected pick which is supposed to another very high pick
Very un-Hickie like. Colangelo wants to get out of the basement and start winning now, and he must think Fultz or Jackson is going to be a huge piece for them.

The one thing I don't want to do is trade with the Sixers and be in the position of hoping that the Lakers don't take the player we want. I wouldn't do any trade that involved taking that risk.
