Speaking of Gerald Green, he did light it up a few times when he played for Phoenix so he might come in handy during one of our infamous scoring droughts.

IIRC, Johnson ($12m) + Jerebko ($5m) + Zeller ($8m) would be one year deals roughly equaling Westbrook's salary plus the raise if he restructured ... just saying. Not sure why I'm making this point on a Gerald Green thread, other than that's the way the conversation has drifted Ya that's scary isn't it.. Wonder how many people make that trade.

Mev, i think Westbrook is only making like 17.6 mill this year, so i think a trade of Amir + IT4 would work cap wise.

He is, but there is a way OKC could re-structure his contract to bring his current salary up to the max (would add about $8.8 m to this year's contract) plus 2 more years at the current max.

If we could get Westbrook for Johnson, Jerebko and Zeller, I'd go for it as long as he agrees to an extension. That leaves our core in place.

I'm sure we would have to throw in some draft picks, especially if he signs on for an extension.

Yes the likely asking price for Westbrook is going to be draft picks. There is no way Westbrook pre signs..He strikes me as a player who wants the attention.
