WESLEY JOHNSON: 3 years, $18 million with the Clippers More of the Clippers cap room gone. Better for us. No sacrifice is too great for my Celtics

On a sidenote, if indeed Durant brushes off the Clips, and eventually signs with us, wouldn't that make you extra satisfied?
While Doc Rivers left us for the dead because he didn't want to go through another painful rebuild, it is he who is now in not so pleasant situation (whereas we have great things to look forward to).
The Clippers are aging and their window is starting to close; we are only getting started, and with each passing year, the window opens wider.
The Clippers are settling for average free agent signings (Wes Johnson, Austin Rivers); we just signed one of the top free agents (Horford) and may land an even bigger fish.

AL HORFORD: 4 years, $113 million with the CelticsCOURTNEY LEE: 4 years, $50 million with the Knicks IAN MAHINMI: 4 years, $64 million with the Wizards AUSTIN RIVERS: 3 years, $15 million with the Clippers ERIC GORDON: 4 years, $53 million with the Rockets Shout out to FLCeltsfan! It can't be a coincidence that Horford signed on her birthday!! Hall-of-Fame Celtics fan hauls in a star player - well done :-) Happy Bday FL! May your good karma bring us KD today or tomorrow! One correction on the numbers listed above, the Clippers are pretty much out of the Durant race because that deal with Rivers is 3 years and 35 million. espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/16713223/austin-rivers-re-signing-los-angeles-clippers-confirms-espn-ramona-shelburne

I also see that Thomas is recruiting Crawford from the Clippers as he was reportedly very disappointed in the offer that they gave him. Is it being too greedy to hope for both Crawford and KD? Butler would have been nice too, but with possible attitude issues and (if) we get KD, I would rather hold onto the Nets picks to create depth in the next few years and keep our window wide open.

I liked Doc, but he drove me crazy with his rotations, especially in the playoffs. On the other hand I really like Stevens and think that he can be a top 3 head coach before he is finished. So I have no hard feelings towards Doc, I thank him for leaving and allowing us to hire Stevens because I think we are better off as a franchise with this move.

Rondo to the Bulls on a 2 year 28 Million dollar contract. Remember when rondo thought he should be over paid? Now he's playing for the right kinds of money, i still wish he was more willing to play here for a similar contact when we traded him though,.
