Bender had 2 workouts with the Celtics but I haven't heard anyone giving results from them. I know that Mike Gorman said that Bender would be tough to pass up if they keep the pick.

What I read is that the first workout, in Israel, was awful, and the second one in Boston, yesterday, was "good". I can't remember things being this confusing the day before the draft.

I read the same thing - none of the NBA teams that traveled to see him were impressed (allegedly). I read a quote today that Bender said the workout was good, but I haven't read anything by someone who actually works for the organization.

From Steve Bulpett:
All eyes are on the Celtics as the draft approaches. My final mock draft is as follows:
1. Simmons 2. Ingram 3. Chaos
Sounds about right.

Good one jmost! That sounds about right to me also. It could be a trade or any one of 8 players drafted. At this point no one knows.

I'm pretty sure this is about the most nervous I've been for a Celts draft in a very long time

Nervous, but yet strangely confident. With Danny and Brad Stevens (who seems to be a good evaluator of talent) pairing up with minds, good things are tonna happen.

Woj said its down to 3 choices:
Dunn Brown Bender
I want Bender, but wouldn't be disappointed with Dunn, and for sure want no part of Jaylen Brown (although if Brad and Danny see something in him, I may have to reconsider my stance).

From the Globe: The Celtics run a drill in which players shoot a total of 100 3-pointers from five spots on the court, and Brown said that he made 76 of them — one of the higher numbers of this draft season — at his workout.
Interesting. Maybe even a clincher if true. The kid is smart, driven, physically gifted and young. If he's improved his shot that much in such a short period of time, it says a lot about his work ethic and drive to succeed.
p.s. I think this draft has given me multiple personality disorder.

I'm very nervous and excited. Tonight will be big for the Celtics We will have new players one way or the other- either by trades or draft. I'll be ok with anyone they pick because I know they have done their due diligence in knowing who to pick.
