I just watched some tapes on Myles Turner and did some reading on him and....wow. I think I'm all in on him now. For a lot of reasons

I think a big that can protect the paint, and rebound would make alot of difference with BOS, because the team has excellent guards on defense.

Well he is an excellent shooter I think. Remember how Camby had that sorta turn around fade that he got good arch on and got up over people? He sorta has that but he can also hit it out to three point land. He has some very good crisp passes and he seems very jumpy sorta like Clint Capela. He's got that pogo thing. He clearly has put on some decent weight/strength since high school and can put on some more. I didn't see any real evidence of leg issues, other than maybe just natural skinniness. Long arms. I just found nothing to dislike. Ok ball handling for someone his size. Loved every second of what I was seeing. Almost reminded me of Durant at moments and then a less skinny Camby at others. But he's already like 25 pounds ahead of what KG and Camby were coming into the league. KG had a good outside shot and this kid is sorta like that as well. Due to his skinniness it makes me think it's all natural too. I just loved what I saw and what I did not see

My biggest question is the long term health concern with his legs (the way he runs looks like, to me, puts a lot of jolt on his hips and the hip joint). But as far as his game, I think he can be a nice Center. Kind of like what Kwame Brown should have been. Myles can block shots, cover ground, and on offense he has a nice perimeter shot (which shows at the free throw line). Not a big rebounder though.

I just didn't see evidence of bad running. I'm not a doctor, but I just didn't see much and I don't think he has any kind of injury history. If I had to choose between two players that are about the same and one runs a little strange and the other just missed the whole year for a broken leg like Julius Randle I'd go with the guy that hasn't been hurt. I think he can put on easily 10-15 pounds in the next four years and maybe more than half of that will go into having stronger legs and lower back.

Yeah I'm waiting until actual doctors say there is a problem before worrying about it. The big problem is that I doubt he's there at 16. But if he us, I hope DA nabs him with the quickness.

E, not sure if you have seen Texas play on television, but when you see him running in actual games, you can see his awkward stiff legged running. You don't get to see it much in highlight films because the vids don't show Turner running and jogging down the length of the court.

Got this off of Youtube (full game of Texas vs Kansas). www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzZ9Nw030MEIf his medical turns up fine, and doctors don't expect any probable leg problems, then its not likely he'll last till we pick at 16. He's a project, but a worthy one, for sure.

I'll try to watch some of it, but I'm just not that worried about it. Sully supposedly had injury problems too and this guy hasn't actually gotten hurt. I can't imagine his running looks any more odd than Montross and running legs wasn't the problem there

In recent years, there have been several good players for Texas that were not developed in college, but developed in the NBA. Turner might be another.

I like Harrell. Undersized for sure, however has a huge wingspan (7'3). BOS needs a player that can crash the boards.

Man that Robert Upshaw measured out of this world. I could see him climbing up draft boards. Can't teach height.
