I do like Andrew Harrison's upside as well.

Its pretty hard to rank these guys for me, please don't hold me to it!!!! My top 5 are pretty much locked in but the rest could move a little

Yea it's tough once you get past the top 5 or so...I mean, if we got Embiid, Parker, or Wiggins we should be really ecstatic...Exum and Randle are pretty exciting as well for a top 5 pick.

A lot of guys projected in the first I just left off because I just don't know much about them. FYI the players in my tiers are in no particular order

McDermott ahead of Smart? That's madness I tell you. Madness! Yup, you heard me correctly, McD over Smart. McDermott has at least 1 definite basketball skill he'll bring over to the NBA (his keen shooting). Smart doesn't. Actually, its not so much that I'm valuing McD too high, but its more that I just don't see the hype for Smart.

Embiid or Parker or trade the pick. If we got randle he or sully would be dealt for a center imo and there aren't any. exum is an interesting player.... still ike marcus smart but he's more a secondary piece and rondo is better than him by far.
I think it's embiid or parker or trade the pick. we could really just draft any of these guys though. sully and randle would be interesting and give us 2 stud pfs. the way the nba is going anything can work.
wiggins is still that huge wildcard. If he falls into our lap that would be interesting.

I think i would try to get Embiid. Even if we are slotted to get parker or wiggins i'd try to trade up and get embiid or hope the teams ahead of us take those guys. We have green. i might swap green and picks for one of those guys but its debateable and i doubt a team would do that anyways. they might but id have to question if it was worth it myself.
i dont know if i'm sold on embiid yet. I like him as a player. He could be hasheem thabeet but i think he's better than that and like a cross between bill russell, thabeet and hibbert.
i'm sold on parker. i think he's going to be really good and has no drawbacks overly. he is the real deal. wiggins is also the real deal and probably the most talented. his mentality just hasnt caught up yet. sometimes superstars take a bit to get that killer instinct though and trust their talent.
There are only so many centers in the league. Unless we are going to trust kelly olynyk and build some other way there are only so many centers in the league. omer asik isnt the answer neceesarily. we may have kicked the tires on himed. he's a decent roleplayer and bench guy possible starter but the answer? not so sure. he is risky as hell and could be nothing more than an injury waiting to happen too.

I dont like drafting on need either. I think you take the best player available which is Jabari Parker. But centers are different that way sometimes. I dont necessarily see Kevin Durant in this draft. I also dont see Embiid as Greg Oden. I think i would role the dice on Embiid and possibly draft Parker as Green's replacement if he isn't going to turn it around and fill our roster with players that we know what we are getting. Wiggins is still super talented and i would not underrate him one bit just because he isn't doing what he is capable of at the college level. It just shows he is thinking his way through the game right now.
Wiggins to me is still possibly more talented than parker. So i dont really rate one over the other that way from half a season of college. Potential they are still neck and neck.
I think jabari parker is carmelo anthony without the attitude problems which is a really really good player.

1. Parker 2. Embiid 3. Wiggins
is how i would rate them right now. I haven't figured out the rest of the top 10. As far as the Celtics are concerned I might take Embiid #1 but i'm still a coin flip on that one. It still depends on how I feel about jeff green etc and a million other things.

Embiid is definitely not the second coming of Thabeet. Thabeet played 3-seasons at UCONN.

Nope, way more basketball talent and skill than Thabeet. Hasheem was just tall and mobile. Even Fab Melo has more basketball skills than Thabeet.
Embiid, even at a younger developmental age than Thabeet and Melo, can do things that they may never do.

My concern w/ Embiid is the injuries he has had this season. One quick comparison to him based on what he accomplished this season is Serge Ibaka. Embiid has proven he can block shots, rebound, and make high percentage shots.
