No Smart in the top 10, DM?
If we were to go straight up best prospects (regardless if they'd be the right choice for Boston). my list would be.
1. Embiid 2. Wiggins 3. Parker 4. Exum 5. Randle 6. Smart 7. Harris 8. Gordon 9. Vonleh 10. Young

Yeah, until I'm convinced otherwise, I'm leaving Smart off my board.
Jr, I like McDermott's scoring potential. Grant it, he's not going to be option #1, 2, or 3. I do not like him in that capacity. But I think if he joins a young team who already has its main pieces in place (like say Utah, who has Burke, Canter, and Favors, or the Pelicans, who have Holiday and Anthony Davis), getting McDermott as a 3rd or 4th scoring option is going to be helpful.

I'm going to copy you fresh because I like your picks of harris, Gordon nad young.
nbadraft.net has Gordon going to us at 20 and he's better than that.

I haven't watch as many Duke games as I have Kansas games but to me Wiggins has the bigger upside over Parker. Parker will come into the league more polished then Wiggins but in the long run I believe Wiggins will be the better pro. Wiggins has that "Superstar" potential

Derren, have you seen a lot of Tyler Ennis? I haven't seen any Syracuse games so I'm clueless, but ESPN's been talking him up a bit in their "Best Freshman" segment.

I actually had Ennis on my radar before the college season started. I wondered if his lack of blazing speed would hinder him, but he's quite crafty.

I've seen a game of his. Ennis has above average court vision and is a decent offensive threat but right now, he looks more like a Mike Conley type player. Good but not great.

I agree with that. Good comp (but with less speed).

I'm looking for to tourney time and really getting to study some of the players that should be available with our BKN/ATL pick. Tourney time is great regardless, but having a couple of first rounders makes it even more fun.

lets say both the harrison twins come out, you guys reckon one of em would be worth taking with a late 1st rounder?

If Parker lights up Syracuse's top defense tonight, then to me hes still worthy of the no.1 pick.

I would like BOS to select McDermott w/ the second of the first round selections (via Brooklyn). I don't think he will be a star player, but he will be a great role player.

Andrew Harrison, if they drop him from the Point and concentrate on making him a 2 guard, he'll be a better player. This kid is just not a Point.
RR, yes, I think McDermott can have a bright future as a role player. And I would not hesitate to use a mid first round pick on him.
