Then we package the 2 seconds to move up in the draft.

Well, it could matter this year. This draft won't include any high school players, or any player under the age of 20 (like the international players). That puts a limit on the amount of prospects in this year's draft because I'm sure this bracket of kids made up a sizeable percentage in the past several drafts. Gomes, who went 50th this past year, may not make it past 30 if he came out this year (but we all know he could have been a first round pick).
So, though Ainge has been fantastic at picking out players late in the draft, this may be his first trouble draft.

That might make for needing more picks, so you might move up. Draft pick will help in any trade. Bynum and Kid New England went undrafted and have a chance down the road.

Yes, this draft will be similar to drafts like 1993 or 1994 in terms of no hs'ers coming out with a very weak second round like those 2 drafts. I mean this past draft was not a weak 2nd round at all. 2006 just might be.

With the high school kids out of the draft we might see more guys leave college early. This might not be so great for the NCAA.

Yea. There may not be as many steals later on due to it either. They'll be less seasoned players as well for the college game and the kids who were gonna be HS'ers if not for this age limit left early, it will hurt the college game even more than HS'ers not going to college at all.

i don't think it will hurt college ball at all. The ones that will be coming out early in the future will be the same players that otherwise would have come straith out of HS. It all just shifts a year. Plus, college ball will have the chance to see guys like Garnett, Lebron, O'Neal, Kobe... in the NCAA tournament for one season. How can that be bad?

I see a lot of the HS players going to 'Camp Schools' rather than the NCAA. If grades are an issue or if they just want to sharpen their skills, this gives them an out. What kind of school did Orien Greene go to? Basketball school, IMO. Good for him and good for us? Yet to be seen.

It can go either way. Some guys will go to NCAA and some will go to other HS camps probably.
