Our perimeter defense should be improving so hopefully that will help them. We become more athletic during each year of the Ainge era. Hopefully, that translates to more on the ball pressure and less defending by the bigs.

Not to mention, Perkins doesn't have a good reputation with the refs so far. And this early as a 2nd year player, you don't want that if you're Perkins. The refs are bias toward the celtics as it is so there has to be a guy who can at least draw good calls and have a good reputation with the refs. If Perkins can stay in the games and get 30 minutes a game, I see him being another Lorenzen Wright which is still a pretty solid player. Jefferson I see being like Zach Randolph only without the baggage like being a headcase. These guys have to stay in games though. This could also be why Perkins didn't get as much pt last year like he could have.

Same with Jefferson. Because Jefferson showed flashes of being really good. I was saying, somethings wrong with this picture. He was a leading player for the rookies in the rookie/sophomore game. He had big games vs Jermaine O'Neal and Shaq. Why isn't he getting more miuntes? I didn't mean start getting 35mpg but just getting more minutes. Foul trouble had to be the reason Blount was in his place most of the year. That lazy piece of crap did nothing for this team.
