I didn’t know this till now — PJ Dozier is a cousin of Reggie Lewis, and wears #35 in his honor.

Not knowing that Hondo had been dealing with Parkinson's, I was a little shocked when I heard the news last night. He was one of those guys who seemed ever-youthful. Havlicek (I learned last night that it's pronounced Havelchek) came into the league about the same time as I started watching the Celtics. What I remember about him is that he never stopped running and seemingly never got tired. He'd defend an opponent who was a prolific scorer by not letting him get the ball. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do that, before or since. Super classy guy. I was lucky enough to be at his last game, where he was honored at half time. The feeling in the old Garden that day was special, 13,909 fans expressing love and gratitude for that man. I'll never forget it. And of course, he stole a ball once as I recall. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhpqiSC4aTo

I keep wanting Hondo to steal us a ball and Tommy to be on the radio... 35 is a missed one.

28 years ago today. It's something, I'm far older now than Reggie ever was, but he seemed larger than life when you're a kid. RIP Reggie.
